British Columbia

Moonroot Meditation x Hempology 101

When: Apr. 7, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Where: 336 East First Avenue #202, Vancouver

This meditation and cannabis-education workshop will cover the basics of cannabis and mindfulness meditation. Participants will be guided through a series of gentle and tender meditation practice focused on breath work and self-awareness. Tickets are $15.

De-Stressing With Cannabis

This Ellementa Women’s Wellness Gathering explores how cannabis interacts with your body and brain and how to incorporate micro-dosing when facing stressors head-on. Tickets are $15.

Intro to Terpenes Workshop

When: April 16, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Where: Tokyo Smoke, 1205 1 Street Southwest, Calgary

Tokyo Smoke hosts this free event zeroing in on all things terpenes. The Calgary coffee shop bills the workshop as a chance to “learn about the olfactory system and how our sense of smell relates to the brain, and how it all comes full circle when selecting the right cannabis varietal.”

420 Music & Arts Festival Calgary

When: Apr. 18-20
Where: County Line Saloon, 1825 50 St. SE., Calgary

Returning in a haze of smoke for its third year, this three-day festival celebrates 420 culture with a solid lineup of local and international talent. On the bill: Crobot, The Grudge, Valley of The Sun, Buffalo Bud Buster, Great Electric Quest, and more. Tickets are $69.

Cannabis Comedy Festival Presents: Dope

There should be no short of laughs, but there might be low on seats. The DOPE Cannabis Comedy Festival promises some of Toronto’s top comics, headlined by Yuk Yuk’s Danny Martinello. Tickets range from $14.99-$24.99.

420 Comedy Festival

When: Apr. 19-21
Where: Toronto venues including Comedy Bar, The Underground, Bad Dog Comedy Theatre, The Rivoli

The third edition of the 420 Comedy Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. Taking place at four major Toronto venues, expect a lineup packed with dozens of top comedians including Keith Pedro, Phil Luzi, Chanty Marostica and Adrienne Fish. They’re funny even if you’re not under the influence. Tickets range from $10-$20.

Pot Pop Up Party!

When: April 19 and 20, 10 p.m.
Where: Coyotes Lounge & Nightclub, 37 Beech St., Sudbury

Sudbury Burlesque brings a late night comedic cannabis-themed event featuring surf music, rock ‘n roll, bartop burlesque, and more! Celebrate all that’s wonderful, weird, and wacky about weed! Also on the bill are one of Sudbury’s favourite hard-hitting bands, Supertoke. Tickets are $25.

420 Comedy Showcase with Mike Rita & Friends

When: Apr. 19, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
Where: Grand Gerrard Theatre, 1035 Gerrard St. E., Toronto

Join comedians Mike Rita and friends on the eve of Canada’s first legal 4/20! Ticketholders can not only get a headstart on celebrating the big day, they’ll also receive an advance copy of the comedy album ‘Pot Comic’ which is set to be released the following day. Tickets are $20.

Funky Buddha Yoga Sessions

The Coast presents The Cannabis Sessions
