From 4/20 festivities across the nation to the grand opening of retail stores in Ontario, there’s no shortage of cannabis-friendly events on the calendar.

Tokyo Smoke hosts this free event zeroing in on all things terpenes. The Calgary coffee shop bills the workshop as a chance to “learn about the olfactory system and how our sense of smell relates to the brain, and how it all comes full circle when selecting the right cannabis varietal.”

The third edition of the 420 Comedy Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. Taking place at four major Toronto venues, expect a lineup packed with dozens of top comedians including Keith Pedro, Phil Luzi, Chanty Marostica and Adrienne Fish. They’re funny even if you’re not under the influence. Tickets range from $10-$20.
