I was here once a few weeks back to re-up on some bud as I'd heard they carried some specific strains from a renowned grower. Was back in today and the bud-tender didn't even take my ID or anything, couldn't answer questions about which strain (there were a few strains of which there was more than one distinctly different batch) was which nor which strain came from the aforementioned grower and which didn't. This is unacceptable to have a bud-tender, especially for such high-end product, to not know a thing about what he's handling. On principle, I didn't buy anything.

Excellent, professional style dispensary with truly top shelf flowers that are actually as good as they look/smell - something all too rare. The King Louis is among the best Indica dominant flowers available in Toronto right now, period. Also, as I'd ventured out to this spot - not in my hood and not my normal spot - to get a particular strain that they'd run out of, I was gifted some shake from that strain. Finally, as I'd given them a bit of run-down about human rights law and asking MMPR patients to self-identify their illness/symptoms (something technically illegal and cetainly unethetical), the staff were not defensive, instead, due to my constructive criticism, I was given a ten dollar discount on top of all that.

Outstanding and likely the best of Med Releaf's Tikkun Olam 15 dollar strains. They claim the genetics are proprietary, but the name gives up the ghost, this is basically Alaskan Thunderfuck, perhaps crossed with their own Eran Almog.

This is a nice strain, no doubt, but as is commonly the case with MedReleaf their "top shelf" 15 dollar strains are inferior to the 12.50 and even 5 dollar strains. The hype around Tikkun Olam notwithstanding, this is a solid OG type flower with a predictable smooth sail - if a bit harsh when combusted.

So I finally tried my Licensed Producer's pricey flagship strain. A few thoughts: 1) It is advertised as an indica, but it has a strong haze undertone, in its bud structure, and in the cerebral quality to its otherwise sedating buzz. I would speculate, thus, while the genetics are top secret, that this is a Siliver Haze crossed with either Godbud or G-13 cross. Likely G-13 in terms of the buzz. 2) It is very strong, but a true "creeper"....I found myself disapointed after medicating, but within 15 minutes feeling over-medicated. Again, hints of G-13 and Haze. 3) I don't see it as "all purpose' but it is very very very good flower, at least in terms of the Canadian LP market. Pricey though...

Nice little dispensary - but could use some work on the various kinks. The flower is top shelf and weighed in front of the customer and the environment is friendly and welcoming, with very friendly bud-tenders who seemed quite knowledgeable about their menu, recommending precisely the right strain that I was looking for... That said, they did concede that some products are overpriced...take their so-called "shatter sale". Phyto and Mr. Kush are great extraction companies, and they call it a "sale" to sell them for ten to fifteen dollars more than at other outlets.....The wonderful budtenders, in other words, didn't seem to have nearly the knowledge of extracts than they do flower, edibles and so on. I'd keep going back here if they adjusted their extract prices to reflect the prevailing market in this city. I see no problem with pricey top shelf flower, but think that it's somewhat dishonest to call a 15 dollar markup on shatter a "sale".

Interesting little spot, reminds me of an old fashioned small pharmacy...a little cramped, personally I prefer the Top Shelf location for atmosphere, but the selection of high end brand name shatters (Phyto, Diamond, among others) for 45 a gram (40 on Saturdays) is likely the best in town.

Perfect little spot for special treats and high-end quads in general....The Bullrider is among the best flowers I've ever had, and the God's Vagina is as well. Given their unique quality, they are worth the splurge for special occasions....The equivalent of super aged single malt scotch for those who medicate with flowers.

Great midtown spot and friendly staff, no hassle membership with my LP card. Nice looking flower (haven't tried it yet) and absolutely fantastic concentrate - Nug-run C02 Shatter for 25 a half gram...can't go wrong with that kind of deal....but... These guys store their taffy-like CO2 shatter in dime-bags. Perhaps that's alright for a day or for more brittle BHO shatter, but I wasted about 1/5 of one of my half grams tearing and scraping it off of the baggie and onto a piece of parchment. I called the owner and he was cool about it, and offered a discount on my next purchase.....Well and good, but I really hope they follow through and buy some parchment or silicon dishes. May take more effort packaging grams and half grams but it's a better way of moving the product. Looking forward to trying my gratis GSC pre-roll as a new member. I'd totally recommend this place but these guys really need to learn how to package their concentrates (esp. since it's among the best in its price range in town!)

Topnotch place, some of the best flower in town, very knowledgeable staff and unbelievable deals on concentrates on the weekend (like the other location). I personally prefer this one to the one around the corner, not merely due to the flower but it's more spacious and bright - and the bud-tender's knowledge of the minutiae of differential Sativa and Indica buzzs (I'm glad to hear more talk of 'sharp' vs. 'clear' Sativa) was helpful. Especially with the concentrate deals on the weekend, I have no issue paying tax.... One of the top four dispensaries in town, as far as I'm concerned.
