Super Sour Skunk has everything I look for in a Sativa Hybrid. The aroma of the buds is incredible. Rich sour citrus undercut with fuel and musky skunk fills your nostrils and makes your mouth water. The smoke is a little more dominant on the diesel side. Very rich, tingly and tasty. Quite smooth as well. Very satisfying smoke overall. The high is everything I want in a daytime smoke. I feel very euphoric and energetic. My mood is lifted. I feel no stress and aches and pains are gone. Most importantly, I feel decisive and focussed. I feel more outgoing, social, and motivated. I’d recommend this one to veteran smokers, especially Indica enthusiasts who need a reliable daytime smoke. Sativa dominant strains often make me overly stimulated or anxious but Super Sour Skunk definitely hits a sweet spot. 5/5.

More frequently labelled as “White Castle” this is actually a pretty balanced hybrid strain, (About 60-40 Indica dominant). Very euphoric strain with a medium body high. Good daytime smoke that simultaneously relaxes you, but also leaves you fairly energetic and sociable. Not my absolute favourite but a good flower nonetheless.

Top review as of my writing this is for a different strain. Pink Sunset is the name of an Indica-dominant phenotype of Sunset Sherbert (Girl Scout Cookies x Pink Panties). Pink Cookies aka Wedding Cake is GSC x Cherry Pie. With that out of the way, Pink Sunset delivers powerful body effects with a less soaring, more clear-headed brand of high compared to it’s Girl Scout Cookies parent. Flavour is pleasant and fruity with a hint of pine and spice. Pink Sunset will hit you hard and fast. Excellent herb for relaxation and pain relief. Probably best used before bed though as it will have you slumping in your seat in no time. All things considered, Pink Sunset is an excellent Indica strain for night time use. My only complaint is that the flavour is too mild and fruity for a heavy Indica but some folks might find that a plus. Either way an easy 5/5.

One of the most potent indica dominant strains, Death Bubba has become widely available across Canada. Not all of the cannabis being sold under the name Death Bubba is the real deal however. True Death Bubba grows dense green kush shaped nugs with thick Orange hairs and deep purple highlight. Very beautiful flower. The aroma is where we start getting to what sets his strain apart. Beautifully complex fragrance, terpenes abound. Citrus, pine and floral fragrances with a huge spicy finish. The aroma carries over to the smoke which is very thick but tastes wonderful if One of the most potent indica dominant strains, Death Bubba has become widely available across Canada. Beware of imposters, the real Death Bubba has pale green in small quantities. Produces an exceptionally relaxing and peaceful high. If you are in search of a strain that will produce a lasting sleep, Death Bubba is the strain for you. A note of caution though, this is an extremely potent flower and best left to experienced users or folks who require strong medicinal grade effects. The high can be quite narcotic so it’s also best not to consume this strain until bedtime.

Easily my favourite Sativa-dominant hybrid. Gorilla Glue#4 Provides a potent and unique blend of Sativa and Indica effects. The euphoria and happiness produced bythis strain are unparalleled. This high is exceptionally energetic, creative and happy. Perfect for creative pursuits, going outdoors and social activities. GG4 also produces a noticeable body high that provides some pain relief and stimulates appetite. There is a very weightless quality to the body high that keeps you moving. The flowers themselves tend to be lime-green with dark Orange hairs. May have some purple areas as well depending on temperature. Nugs are dense, very sticky and popcorn sized. Aroma is very pungeant. Grassy and skunky with a hint of sweetness. The smoke is quite thick and a bit harsh. Tastes of a pleasant mixture of grass, diesel, with a touch of pepper and sweet lemon. All things considered GG4 is an easy 5/5. Highly acclaimed strain that delivers a unique cannabis experience. Can’t recommend enough.

If your looking for a sativa-dominant strain with body effects that won’t weigh you down Super Silver Haze is a great choice. Very well-balanced effects that leave me energetic and motivated but also help to manage anxiety and stress. Buds have a wonderful aroma. Sweet citrus fruit with a hasty earthy undertone. Smoke tastes similar to the fragrance, just incredible and fairly mild on the throat as well. Overall, Super Silver Haze still stands out as a masterfully bred strain more than 2 decades after it was first introduced. A must-try for any Cannabis lover.

Very potent body high. Immediately relaxes tension and relieves pain and stress. Tuna also induces serious hunger and is a wonderful sleep aid. Tuna has similar head effects to its’ Hindu parent. Thinking remains clear but there is a slightly dreamy almost psychadelic quality to the high that becomes more pronounced with further consumption. Makes me feel totally at peace. Overall one of my favourite Sativas. The buds smell amazing. Notes of citrus and tropical fruit with a hint of pine. I really enjoy the effects as well. Very pure high; energetic, creative and euphoric. Some sativas make me a bit restless as well but Red Congolese feels focused and comfortable. Maybe a bit too potent for people new to Cannabis but I Would definitely recommend this strain to veteran or moderate consumers for daytime use. Great choice for treatment of ADHD/ADD.
