IC: Med (Ice Cream) Patient Ready

Decent Pain Relief. Also Good For Insomnia. This was the very first product I ordered from Beacon Medical (ABcann.) On a scale from 1-10, I'll give it a 6.5 -7. For what I need it for, it's not too bad. But I need a much higher level of pain relief without the head-high. The onset is rather quick (30 minutes.) After 1 hour, it's fully settled in. Helps with some aggravating aches and pains. As for the sharp and stabbing pain, it hardly left a dent. Increased the dose several times. But, with fibromyalgia, it always lets you know it's there. Hard to cover up. The smell is not bad. Taste is not particularly pleasant. Goes down a bit harsh. But for the overall needs I require, I can't give it any higher rating. As for the head-high, that's a given with the 19% THC content. In a pinch and if everything else were sold out, I'd buy this again. But just know that if your pain is severe, it won't do the trick. A couple-three Advil 400 Ibuprofen gelcaps will work better, and last longer. And that's from my personal experience. Thanks.

NC: Med (Nebula)

First Time Trying This Product. As stated in a previous review, I purchased Lullaby (Ambient) at the same time from Beacon Medical (Abcann.) The intention was to blend a high THC product, and find some balance. Using Nebula (Reflect) is a 'gateway' into THC:CBD ratios and combinations. See what works and sticks. And what doesn't. First time I lit this product up, I got a real nice head buzz.....but very little body buzz. Hit me hard on the up-take. I could still feel a significant amount of lower extremity pain, however, after 30 minutes to an hour. It really did nothing for me to block or numb the pain. So, by itself, Nebula (Reflect) is probably not the answer. The head-high surprised me with the 4%-6% THC/6%-11% CBD ratio. But.....that's what happened. However, this is where Ambient (Lullaby) comes into play. Up the CBD portion to find that elusive 'sweet-spot.' It's effective, long-term pain relief I'm after. And by using a high 28% THC product like CannTrust's Gold Kush along with Beacon's (ABcann's) Lullaby (Ambient ) at 20% CBD should lead me to the 'yellow-brick road!' Hopefully. What I will say is that I'm practically off the harsh pharmaceuticals that have left me with horrendous side-effects. And I've cut down a lot on the 400mg Advil Ibuprofen. I was popping up to 8 of those a day. My liver was cursing me something fierce. So, something is working on the cannabis end of things. Toto.....we're sure not in Kansas any more! ;-)

Ambient

Giving Ambient (Lullaby) A 2nd Chance. Let me first say that I ordered this item from Beacon (ABcann) on a Wednesday. Canada Post delivered it on the following Monday....a full day ahead of schedule. So, thanks to both Beacon and Canada Post for making that happen. Especially with the rotating strikes happening across the country. Beacon may not be the biggest LP out there. But they have a solid reputation of high-quality products and caring customer service. Imho, that is important.....that goes a long ways with me. I can count on them for keeping their word and standing behind it. And like every other LP right now, they're going to run out from time to time based on the demand due to the 'recreational' legalization of the product. As long as they remember that 'we' the medical patients, were here first, and had to make a huge initial investment with Dr. appointments, screening, follow-ups to maintain our prescription, etc....then everything should be fine. Last time I ordered Ambient (Lullaby,) I'm not sure if my system was ready for it. And I experimented a wee bit with other strains and oils as well. Truthfully, with very little, if any positive results. Saying this, and after doing some extensive online research, I'm giving this product another shot. Anbient (Lullaby) is approximately 20% CBD. And I'm going to roll a fatty and smoke it straight, blend it in with some Gold Kush (28% THC) I picked up from CannTrust. Try to find that magical 'sweet spot' that us chronic pain sufferers are searching for. Somewhere in between that 4:1-3:1 CBD/THC ratio is my answer. And I'm determined to find it!

CBD Beacon Blend

Milled - CBD Beacon Blend (THC 1%-CBD 17%) This product is now called 'CBD Beacon Blend' with Beacon Medical (ABcann.) Decent CBD level at 17%. When it arrived, they had done a great job of milling it up for me. Smoke or Vape ready! It's not quite as strong as Lullaby (Ambient.) But I smoked a bowl by itself, and got some good results. Had about three hours of pain relief. Total reduction on a pain threshold meter would be more than 50%. No head high. No intoxication, Just strong muscle relation. And as with high CBD products, there is a strong cough involved! I've also used this product to blend and mix n match with higher THC items and 1:1 ratios. Hard to find high CBD products. So, when they become available, out comes my VISA and I stock up. I'd say that this is a level below Lullaby (Ambient,) CT-CBD #1 and Canna Bliss. But, you can always add some punch with some Northern Pride or CBD Skunk Haze. Experiment. See what works for you.

Ember

Nice Mid-Level THC (14%-15%.) I'm not much for reviewing these products like I'm reviewing wine or cheese. I don't know much about strains or taste or smell or appearance. I'm ignorant that way, and it's not my thing. I'm looking for pain relief, and nothing but. And then to share this honestly with the community so that it helps others. So you know where I'm coming from. Plain and simple. Ember from Beacon Medical (ABcann) helps me. Very, very mild head-high. Decent body buzz. On a pain threshold level, my overall pain is reduced by more than 50%. And that's a big deal to me. It's not perfect, and there's only around 1% CBD. But the mid-level THC level really helps me. I don't feel tipsy. I'm not overly intoxicated, I'm very coherent. So, imho, if you could tolerate this level of 14%-15% THC, it would be a decent morning/afternoon product. Other than not driving, and this is only my opinion, you could more than function effectively within any office setting. I don't feel hazed for daily medical and professional/employment function. Build up some tolerance. It shouldn't inhibit you. And if it does, you can always add some higher CBD or a 1:1 to level you off a bit. I'm learning to mix 'n match and blend ratios, so I've done this, too. Hope my perspective helps you.

Gold Kush

Still Searching For The Ideal Strain. I chose this product specifically for the high THC content (27%.) I wanted to see if this would give me the body-buzz I was looking for. I obviously knew that I was going to get a head-buzz. But, if it took the pain away, I knew that I would be half-ways there. And it didn't disappoint. The high sets in very quickly. Then escalates from there. After about an hour, you're feeling pretty good. My overall pain is reduced by well under 50%. And it's not like I'm going to enter an Iron-Man contest. Those days are long gone. That guy is gone. But it does help to take away those peripheral aches and pains that can be really annoying. As for the sharp severe pain I experience. The reduction is significant. Not 100%. But certainly manageable. Let's put it this way: take away the head-buzz, and it's the perfect strain for me to get my life back. Not perfect. But, after experimenting with some high CBD strains and some Hybrids, this hits the spot. You get this really nice numbness all over. Living with my symptoms is hell. Torture. Depression and suicidal thoughts are normal when it's a 24 hour a day, day in and day out battle. If you understand chronic pain, then we're on the same page. It's been a 20 year battle. I know I'll never be the same again. But after being prescribed so many pharmaceuticals over this same time frame, and having nothing to show for it other than money pissed down the drain and lost time and opportunities, as well as so many negative side-effects, I will never regret going down this path. I've had MD's basically shut me down discussing cannabis. And I've had to 'fire' all of them. But, ever since I decided to take my life back, and get control of my present and my future, I've felt more empowered than ever before. Whatever your symptoms are, good luck to you. We're all searching for answers as a part of the same community.

Northern Pride

Really Nice Pain Relief (THC 7%-CBD 10%) I'm really happy with this item. Of all the consumption methods, I still prefer smoking a joint or using a pipe. Old school. I micro-dose. So, a little bit here and there keeps me relatively pain-free now. Which allows me to tackle my day. The only other product that I can compare this with is Beacon Medical's 'Reflect.' Also known as 'Nebula' with ABcann. And that's around a THC 6%-CBD 11% ratio. So, as far as pain goes, smoking Northern Pride a few times per day has reduced my overall pain by more than 50%. It does gives me a slight head-high. So, I can always level things off with a high CBD product like Lullaby (Ambient) or Canna Bliss. Keeps me focused and in control without the buzz. It's easy on your system, too. Not too much of a cough. Hard to come by this product. So, I'll have to stock up on this, too. Give it a try yourself and see how you respond. Hope it helps what ails you!

Pennywise

Top-Shelf 1:1 Product (Thc 10%-Cbd-13%) I purchased this product with CannTrust. Much like Northern Pride, this works extremely well for my symptoms. Some head high. But you can either build up the tolerance to the THC. Or knock it down with a higher CBD product like CT-CBD #1. I'm getting good results. Some days, I'll up the ante with Gold Kush at THC 27%. And Lullaby (Ambient) at around CBD 20%. And spike the 1:1 to a new threshold. But, sometimes, the lower dosages do the trick, too. It just depends on how my body feels on any given day. Overall, more than a 50% pain reduction with my symptoms. Thanks, Pennywise. Some days, better or worse than others. But most days, that 50% level is accurate. So you can blend and mix n match according to your symptoms if needed. There's no right or wrong answer. Keep at it. It takes a bit of time to go through all these products to find what helps the best.

CBD Kush

Better Than 50% Pain Reduction. This product is very good. The batch I received was THC 5%-CBD 6%. Low-level 1:1. I've blended and mixed n matched a lot of weed lately. Mid-level THC-CBD 1:1 ratios in the mid teens. And higher THC-CBD 1:1 ratios over 20%. In all honesty, it's the smaller THC-CBD ratios that seem to work much better for pain relief. More THC brings on the anxiety. And, in my case, reduces the 'entourage' pain-fighting magic. So, by trial and error, this is just my observation. This was my very first order placed with Canna Farms. Package came with Purolater in record time. Pain-wise, about a 50% reduction in lower leg nerve pain. And my crushing spinal pain. Have yet to feel that I needed to add extra THC or CBD to helps out with the ratio. If I hit a wall, then that's what I'll do. I have Gold Kush and Lullaby (Ambient) to help out. But, so far,so good!

CBD Critical Mass

Effective Pain Relief With Staying Power. Top-Shelf 1:1 Product (THC 5%-CBD 9%) purchased through CannaFarms. Much like the other 1:1 THC-CBD products that CannaFarms has, this works extremely well for my symptoms. Then spike the 1:1 to a new threshold. But, sometimes, the lower dosages do the trick, too. It just depends on how my body feels on any particular day. Overall, more than a 50% pain reduction with my symptoms. Thanks, CBD Critical Mass from CannaFarms. Some days are better or worse than others. But most days, that 50% pain level alleviation is accurate. So, you can blend and mix n match according to your symptoms if needed. Or smoke it straight up. And of all the ways to consume, I still like smoking a joint or taking a hit from my pipe. Old school. Just works better than concentrated oils. Which do nothing for me. There's no right or wrong answer. Keep at it. It takes a bit of time to go through all these products to find what works best for you! Find your sweet-spot to help out your symptoms.
