I grabbed a gram of shatter from Liberty Health Sciences in Spring Hill, FL, on a friend’s recommendation. It brings that cakey, buttery, sweet flavor, but with a smooth lemon on the échale. This shatter has been one of those “creeper” strains…a dab of about 1/10 gram puts me into a quiet stupor, then I start getting a little giggly and goofy, and then I wake up in the morning, forgetting that I’d even gone to bed. I say this because I love strains and products that will put me to sleep without letting me really feel and dive into the munchies; I don’t always want to eat a whole Taco Bell before bed and this has been superb in that regard. Orygyn extracts, in cooperation with LHS, has brought some very high-quality ethanol-extracted concentrates to the FLMMJ market and I’m excited to see what they drop next! Once they get into butane and propane extraction, I hope to see live rosin and diamonds ASAP.

I’ve had this strain from Trulieve in FL in every form I can get my hands on so far; flower, rosin, and RSO. This is my version of “the strain” for getting stuff done and being active. Believe it or not, my favorite form of this magical strain is RSO; I eat about 200mg before an 8-10hr night at work (with an occasional equal re-dose at about 4hrs) and time just seems to fly by, tasks seem less menial, I care more about the product I’m helping to put out, I’m more aware of my coworkers’ need for help and care enough to jump in to assist; it’s a dream come true for someone like me who’s wound up all the time but utterly unfocused and more of a loner at heart than a social guy... ***Space Bomb helps me focus and harness my energy while calming my anxiety and stress-related tension, all while quieting my achy bones, joints, and muscles.*** I love Space Bomb as much as I love my kid, my wife, and my dogs. It’s that good, seriously. Trulieve’s RSO brings out the best of this strain, but their rosin and flower are not to be ignored! If you catch her in stock, do yourself a favor and buy some. The location is kind of a pain to find as it’s not exactly where Google maps led me to, but otherwise, very nice. Feels like an Apple store inside, very nicely appointed and decorated. The only complaint I have was that the front counter person chatted with one patient for nearly 20 minutes while seemingly ignoring those of us who hadn’t checked in yet. There is simply no finer "wake 'n' bake" strain on the planet. Get out of bed, hit the Widow a few times, and remain active and busy for a couple of hours until re-dosing it. Great energy lift but not overwhelming; mood lift makes crap days livable; provides me with a fascination with anything and everything around me. If you haven't danced with miss Widow yet, ask her to be your partner for your next go-round. She'll surprise you 😎

This is a top-notch hybrid in my book. Bought from Trulieve in FL, I've had it crumble, shatter, and edible forms ('oral syringe' 200mg infused olive oil) and it works well for me regardless of which form I use. The onset is all sativa, when inhaled at least but it mellows out into relaxation within an hour or two. When eaten, it provides a balanced effect with a slight uptick in energy. I use this strain any time besides bedtime and it keeps me going through whatever I need to accomplish. Top 3 daytime strain. Enjoy!

I've had an of issue with Curaleaf since July (Palm Harbor screwed up my veteran's discount, and then I couldn't make contact or get a reply from anyone at the company) but the manager, Alex (female), got it taken care of immediately. I visited on 12/11, during their grand opening. They had a BOGO 50% off sale, so I snagged 2 1/2G concentrates and 2 cartridges for $85 (because of the $20.80 they owed me, which Alex deducted from my total). It's a really store and in a good location; I liked the atmosphere and every employee I talked with was welcoming and helpful. My medtender was very obviously pretty new to the industry, but he'll learn. Each product is great in its own way, but I really love their Lavender (indica) 60% THC cart. Delicious flavor, awesome relaxing effects, and great sleep. Definitely not a morning strain, but that's what I got Strawberry Cough for anyway. When you need something less expensive to get you by, Curaleaf should be your first choice. With the availability of 1/2mL ("half gram") concentrates for just over 30 bucks, it's easy to try new products without spending a lot of cash. Don't forget to ask for any discounts you're eligible for; I'm thankful for their 20% off vet discount and it makes their products all that much better in my eyes.

I got ahold of a Biscotti by Cookies vaporizer cartridge and DAMN was it amazing. It almost had the flavors of a snickerdoodle cookie; a little cinnamon, plenty of sweetness. Superbly relaxing, no anxiety or paranoia, and it put a huge smile on my face. I wish I still had the packaging so I could verify its cannabinoid content, as I'd like to find something as close as possible to Biscotti. Top 3 in my list of vape carts so far (alongside Hardcore OG and Gelato, in no particular order). It wasn't cheap, so it gets 5 stars, but we'll call it a 9/10 (there is no such thing as a perfect score, for me at least).

The most balanced hybrid I've had so far. I used Trulieve's 200Mg oral syringe (essentially a tincture; cannabis infused into olive oil, used sublingually or mixed with other foods-try it with fettuccine alfredo) and have had great experiences every time. No anxiety, paranoia, feeling overheated (some strains make me sweaty and warm), and the increase in appetite is minimal. Very balanced feeling, as it relaxes me but still allows me to feel active and focused for when I need to get stuff done. It's a wonderful strain that seems to fit with whatever you're doing or want to do. Because of its consumption method, it's hard to describe its flavor. Obviously, it tastes like olive oil and decarboxylated cannabis, but I can't say much about it past that.

Ever tried the old classic "hash in a glass"? This is the first strain I smoked out of a glass as such and it was a pretty wild ride. On top of a bowl of flower or smoked by itself (on a screen in a bowl), it didn't give me a buzz with the rush that sucking smoke from underneath an inverted glass through a straw did. Almost confusingly high, eyes wide open, talkative, my face felt tingly, and I was lightly anxious and paranoid (I'm not really into sativa strains for that reason; I just like to test some out every once in a while to see how I feel); as soon as I sat on my couch, I felt adrift in a sea of foggy warmth and euphoric relaxation. I still felt wide awake for about 30 more minutes and then it wore off instantly, so then I had no choice but to go to bed. I slept for a solid 2 hours and woke up feeling refreshed. Will try again at smaller dose to see if the anxiety and paranoia aren't as harsh. No other downsides, awesome buzz if done right, sweet and spicy flavor and aroma (if it weren't so expensive, I'd have SC hash around as incense at all times) calls the smoker to light up some more time after time. Quite intoxicating and will put a big smile on your face.

NOTE: I did not vaporize this strain as a concentrate. There is currently no option for alternate delivery methods (attn: Leafly!) so I couldn't note that I used this strain in capsule form. Awesome for stress relief, relaxation, and once I have time to verify, I'm pretty sure I'll sleep like a rock. Although I've been an every day smoker for about 5 years now, I don't currently have a high tolerance for oral ingestion/edibles. I got a bottle of 25 capsules, 10Mg each, from Trulieve in Gainesville, Florida. Expecting to need a higher dose, I'd gone in planning to buy their 50Mg caps. Their consultant, Nila (incredibly great customer service and first-time-patient consultant), advised me that I should get the 10Mg capsules first to see how they work for me and I am really glad I took her advice. Super mellow, relaxed, almost carefree effects, almost exactly one hour after I took one capsule. Almost no euphoria, and zero anxiety or paranoia (which is why I love Indica strains). Tiring and relaxing; I'm not exactly fighting sleep, but I don't think it would take much to knock right out for a few hours. Again, *buyer beware as these might be more potent than you expected*!
