The staff is friendly and the facility is clean and organized however, the prices are too high and I have been shorted on quantity just about every time I go. Paying $$$ for 3.5g and only getting 3.1g is just unacceptable. I had emailed them about it and they just never responded. Quality is okay but there are better ATCs in NJ - that is for sure.

My favorite CBD strain. It has a musky, almost kushy peppery taste to it unlike many of the other CBD strains which can sometimes have a hempy taste. It has just enough THC to lift your spirits and get your mind off of things if you’re an anxious/obsessive type. I am diagnosed with OCD and this strain is my go-to CBD strain. I like to mix it with other THC dominant strains to even them out.

I had my first visit with Breakwater last week and the selection of strains is much wider than Garden State’s at the moment. I picked up every single strain except for the CBD ones because I’m stocked up on CBD. Service was excellent. I was not aware I had to use cash but they had an ATM right inside the dispensary. Lucy, the manager, helped me with an exchange on my second visit and was very professional and friendly. They offer a nice range of low potency to high potency strains. I initially overlooked the lower potency ones like Lemon G and Orange Bud but, they have grown to be two of my favorites. Their kushes are nice and they do all seem to be distinct in effect. Their flavors are that classic sandalwood kush throughout all three. I personally love that taste. Their MCT oils have proven to be very nice as well. I was going to GSD before and they only sell flower. Having oils as an option makes for quick medicating or ease when discreetness is key. The Grape Ape MCT oil gives me a serious body high at around 2-3 doses. I used it for some bad soreness from the gym and it mellowed out my whole back. Great place. I felt the counseling staff and the budtenders were all friendly and patient. I got the Moonshine Haze (their new strain) and I love it. It’s pungent and flavorful and vapes for a long while. Leaves you feeling motivated. That one will probably stay in my medicine cabinet at all times.

Focused and potent. I use it as a morning strain or a strain for playing music and creating. It’s more of an “anytime” strain for me but it’s energetic enough to make it to my morning rotation. Do be careful as it’s a strong strain so, too much will have you snoozing even if it’s an upbeat cultivar. Taste is a little cheesy and earthy but overall, pretty mild flavor.

Powerful pain reliever. I have Grape Ape as flower which is great for a relaxing head high but, I use a Grape Ape MCT oil for pain and sleep. After having around 30mg THC from the MCT oil, I start to feel deep calming waves on my muscles. Also a great strain for romance.

Light and energetic. Use in lieu of coffee Buds are filled with orange hairs, as the name suggests. Smells like orange and a hint of charcoal BBQ to me. Good morning strain. Mine comes in at 13% THC so, it won’t knock you out. I can definitely see this being a “social” strain.

Relaxing but stimulating in lesser amounts. Swearing and couch-locking in large amounts. Stuff hits like a freight train! I’ve had it in a few states now but the one I get in NJ at GSD is what I’ve had the most of. And it’s GOOD. Dark green and purple buds with gingery orange hairs all though it. It does seem to have a peanut buttery smell to it in addition to piney smells and tastes. Dense buds covered in trichomes. I can run 0.15 grams in my Solo II for 15-30 mins before this strain is spent. Such a hard hitter and pretty, alien-like buds.

My favorite CBD strain so far. The one I have is 20% CBD and 1% THC. There is very little, if any, “head high” with Suver Haze. Works well for edibles too. I vape it with a Solo II and always get a cherry sort of taste with it. Mixes well with other strains. I will take a joint over Suver Haze over Xanax now if I’m really on-edge. My doctor was happy to hear that and so am I!

Alert and relaxed. Smells like its name! I really like this strain on its own in the AM with coffee. The one I have is tested at 15% CBD and less than 0.3% THC so there is no “head high” with this strain. I find this one to be more of a day strain. Mixes great with THC strains. I like mixing it with Bubblegum.
