Purchased: 2019/09/06 Packaged: 2018/11/10 Lot: 29523 Amt: 3.5G THC: 16.5 First off this pot is badly sealed, bone dry and in a container that is far to big. Its rattled around and on opening I found almost a gram busted up in the bottom. Many buds looked scraggly with bare stalks because of this. The buds are a bright lime green with orangeish yellow hairs and a fair amount of crystal. Very little smell even when vaping it. I found the buzz to be very creeper and slowly got higher after I finished a bowl. Very smooth, no coughing no sore throat. But I did find the taste to be a little off. Kind of like smoking in a dirty pipe. Not sure if thats how it normally tastes or because the BC Cannabis Store sold me year old pot. End of the day I wouldnt buy this again nor would I suggest it when there is far better pot and companies that do properly seal and sell much fresher pot (Broken Coast, THC Biomed, Citizen Stash, Redecann, Emerald Health)

Amount: 3.5g Purchased: 07/26/2019 Packaged: 05/07/2019 THC: 21.7% Lot#: 1690130218 At first glance the buds look kinda scraggly and nothing like the pics on the BCCannabis site. But hold it up to the light and its like a disco ball, totally caked in crystal. And very very sticky. I was able to literally stick a 1g bud to my wall and it stayed for 5 or 6 seconds before falling. It has an excellent taste, not sure how to describe it other than medical and potent. You taste it and you just know youre about to get nice and baked. Smoking via gravity lung it was smooth going in but left the throat slightly sore on the exhale. Via dry herb vape it was just smooth period. Great big hits off the vape and threw a buzz from the very first hit and just kept growing. Count was bang on (3.502g) but the price is a litle high for my liking. I think $30 an eighth and $10 a g would be a much more reasonable price. But end of the day when it comes to whats available at the BCCannabis store you cant beat the Broken Coast bud for quality.

Purchased: July 20/2019 Packaged: Sept 10/2018 LOT: AV18SS1A003-0 THC: 16.3% Amt: 1g Right off the hop I was dissapointed. Open the jar to find 2 tiny buds with huge bare stalks attached to them. This trend continued when I weighed it to find out it was 0.2g shy (0.8g not 1g) including the extra wood. Looking at the buds themselves they are rock hard, crystally with lots of brownish red hairs. Smell reminded me of burned wood. Taste however is absolutely horrid. It was like bong resin both via gravity lung and in dry herb vape. The smoke is smooth and certainly gets you gibbled, but the taste is so raunchy and over-powering it just ruins it. At 6.99 a gram the stuff is cheap but with that taste and far superior bud from companies like Redecan and Canntrust for the same price or a dollar more its just not cheap enough.

Purchased 6/28/2019 Kamloops BC Cannabis Store Packaged 4/13/2019 Lot# 4083B2 THC 16% (0.4%) Obviously I was disappointed that I got an 1/8 with a THC % below the listed 20-22%. I was also disappointed that it weighed light. 3.3G The bud looks almost reddish brown because of all the red hair. Nice and fluffy and easy to finger bust. Sadly Canntrust uses huge jars with tiny buds so they bounce around. Plus side though you can run your finger around the jar and get a nice crystal collection. They do have somewhat of a fruity smell but not much of a taste. In the gravity lung it burns clean and is very smooth. In fact I think this is the smoothest bud Ive gotten from the gov store. 3 hits threw a decent buzz. Nice and relaxed. In the Black Widow vaporizer it also worked nicely. I had to leave it for 30 or 40 seconds, which is longer than usual, before it was ready. It gives off nice big hits that grab you right by the short hairs. Would have been 4 stars but they lost a point for the short count and % being 4 below the lowest advertised on the site and in the store.

1/8th Purchased 6/25/2019 BC Cannabis Store, Kamloops Packaged 11/8/28 Lot #383L3 Total THC 20.2% This most certainly does not have a skunky smell. It almost reminds me of Vicks Vaporub. Unlike other Redecan bud Ive purchased this is spongy and still feels like it has moisture left in it. I was also surprised to find a 2g bud in the jar and not just tiny popcorn buds and that this 1/8 weighed heavy (3.56g). The buds are a nice light camo green with orange hairs, well manicured and caked in crystal. So far Ive only tried this using a gravity lung (smoking) and found it to be fairly smooth going down and a tickle on the exhale. Not much of a smell or taste, nothing stands out. It does not burn clean. Im left with half burned black ash and a lair of "cake" that has to be burned or scraped off the screen after every hit. Not particularly impressed

First off is how they treat you different on the weekend than during the week. I have never been carded going in on a Tuesday or Wednesday, but have every Friday and Saturday. Also they just jacked the price on almost everything $1 per gram and apx $5 per 1/8. Especially the lower priced strains as there are now almost no 6.99 and they went from 21.99 1/8 to 26-28.99 1/8. The pot I have bought is decent but nothing to write home about. Ive tried Quadra, LA Confidential, Pacific Star, Island Pink, Sensei Star, Keats and Lemon Zkittle and honestly none have been as good as the stuff I used to get from my old dispensary or my old black market friends. Also many are under counted 3.2g instead of 3.5g for an 1/8. And the experience is horrible in comparison. Before it was buying from friends, now I just feel dirty buying from the gov at inflated prices.

Amt" 1/8th Purchased' 05/29/19 Kamloops gov store THC' 15.2% The bud is a light army green with a weak smell with just a slight old or dusty smell. Fairly crystaly and slightly spongey but overall nothing to write home about at first glance. I first tried this in a gravity lung, which did not work very well. It produced very little smoke and while the inhale was smooth it hurt the throat a bit. I gave up on this method after 4 bowls, a sore throat and a slight buzz. I next tried this in a Black Widow dry herb vape. This worked very well. Tasted better than the lung did, and also got me snookered. I found the buzz to be almost like a Matrix thing. Everything seems slow motion. Nice and relaxed, happy and the stress from a days hard work gone. I would not suggest this strain for smoking but give it a big thumbs up for vaping it. And based on my buzz I would say dont put to much stock in the THC % on the pack because this 15.2% got me higher than other stuff from the gov store that says 22% .

I love LA Confidential. Its in the top 3 for my fav strain tied with Skywalker OG and Pink Deathstar. That said the 404 La Confidential strain being sold at BC Cannabis stores is bunk. They claim on site that it ranges from 16-26% THC. The 1/8th I purchased weighed light on my Toledo 440-z dig scales. It was also in a container far larger than needed so it was able to bounce around and lose trichomes. Normally a bowl in my Black Widow vape will leave me semi drooling. The 404 LA Confidential not even close. My container claims its 16.83% THC but even after 2 bowls in the vape and 3 shots of rum I feel jack
