Great White Shark

4/2/2019
Very nice medicine. It is a lot more stoning than Sour Diesel, a different Sativa-prominent strain that I don't use often because I get too wasted. Great White Shark hits hard with a strong Indica effect, and then the energy of the Sativa creeps in. Actually one of the more balanced strains, and I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

Headband

Apex's 2018 Headband Extract has a beautiful flavor to it. Uplifting in every way. Less of the SD stoning effect. Excellent taste.

Sour Banana Sherbet

As mentioned in the description "it reportedly makes excellent concentrates." Indeed it does. Very smooth smoke and a super sativa high. Reminds me of Durban Poison.

Sour Diesel

I enjoy sativas and have grown this strain many times. For me, Sour Diesel has a pronounced stoning effect and short duration, thus 3 stars. I prefer the clarity and long effects of Durban and Jack Herer phenotypes. I guess I got used to that type of sativa before the Sour D came along in the 90's.

ABX - 50mg THC Soft Gels - 20ct

7/26/2018
Beautiful capsules of cannabis oil manufactured in standardized dosages. 50mg is quite relaxing, 100mg can knock you out, which is a desired effect sometimes. These are actually a good thing to keep in the first aid kit as an alternative to analgesics and sedatives.

ABX | Full-Spectrum Vape Cartridge, Jack Herer - 1G

This is a very nice vape cartridge. The taste reminds me of when I made cannabutter with a bunch of Herer. There's a slightly minty taste along with the citrus. ABX did a great job with this one.

Power Plant

I grew four plants of this strain in 2005 from seeds I got from an ounce of it purchased at CannaMed Care on Sutter in SF. This is a magnificent Sativa with a citrus and pepper aroma along with an energetic cerebral high. The plant is compact but not too big. I grew four Jack Herer plants at the same time and they towered above. The branching with Power Plant is very even and there are not excessive calyxes at each node, which helps air out each flower to avoid mold. Despite the lack of energy at the nodes, Power Plant is a huge producer. I harvested more from the Power Plant then the Jack Herer, which had grown much bigger and taken up a lot of space. I also found myself giving away most of the Jack Herer and keeping the Power Plant to my greedy self. The seeds are still available from Dutch Passion, and they are the smallest little pot seeds you have ever seen in your life. Half the size of all other seeds, I think the plants go way back with their genetics, surviving because of their unattractive oil content for bird life. As for the name, Power Plant, well... it has growing power and big yields in small spaces. Dutch genetics were a big deal in the 90's and it's possible this was like a nostalgic "Power Chord" for the creators. I wish there were more of it around now.

Lemon Zest

Big surprise with this one. A big vape of this flower made my head explode into ten million exquisite pieces, on more than one occasion. Grown at Moongazer Farm in 2017, Northern California.
