I tried this from Tweed, where they call it "Herringbone". It tested at 21% THC which is pretty good at least for Govie stuff. Only time I have ever smelled bud and thought "this is like dried plums". Such a unique smell. Earthy tanginess (I don't know what tanginess smells like but the word association is what comes to mind). I can see why Herringbone was the name given, because it really does look like a fish skeleton. Nice trichrome coverage with the odd orange hair patch. The bud colour is a little on the lighter green side but its nothing too bright. It tastes like it smells, but the plums take a back seat to a more grapey earth kind of taste. Pretty smooth. The effects are pretty balanced. My body was relaxed, but my mind was stimulated enough to counteract the potential couch lock. The high is moderate about 2/2.5 hrs, leaning more towards an Indica on the come down, with more sedative properties apparent. This strain reminds me of that "girl next door" kind of vibe. You know what to expect, but are pleasantly surprised at the same time. Good for chilling with the wife, playing video games, watching a movie, it's a real easy ride.

Had this from a Canadian company called Broken Coast. They call it "Galiano". Tested at about 19% THC which is pretty decent, but not as high as it could be. This flower has such a unique smell to me, I cant get the idea of sandalwood out of my head as the predominant smell. Some spice and earthiness are accompanied with it. Even though the THC level was mediocre for what it could be, Broken Coast are probably one of if not the best available Govie weed producers at the moment. With that in mind the buds from this are absolutely beautiful and near perfectly cured, so it is a real treat to look at and break up. They resemble typical Sativa like buds being not so dense and fluffier in appearance, with large red/orange hairs protruding everywhere and absolutely covered in trichromes. You may want to be chilling for this strain before consumption, because the high has an extremely fast onset so be forewarned. It has a very upbeat and very energizing feel accompanied with a fair amount of euphoria,focus, and a mildly psychedelic spin to it. Consumed in large quantities will highten the psychedlic aspect and reduce the other attributes so go slow with this bad boy. The high lasts long about 3hrs and dissipates into an uplifted energized feeling. Great for the day not so much for night. Although if you go out then yeah this could useful in small amounts. Great Sativa but just make sure your setting is relaxed, because before you know it your mind is going "brah I'm high af".

Hands down phenomenal.. I have had a bajillion and one OG's but this by far is the greatest cut I have tried. It smells earthy yet floral and grassy. Very pleasant. The smoke on this is smooth, a little too smooth lol. Due to that fact, I pulled massive hits off this unaware as to how big they were until I exhaled. It tastes very earthy, a little sweet, and I still got that fresh cut grass taste which isnt bad it was rather pleasant. The effects on this though are beautiful it makes me want to cry. Anxiety, depression, shitty mood, sore muscles, w.e your issue is gets utterly blasted away with one of the most functional highs ever. Youre functionally relaxed for a good 1.5 hrs until it drags you to a nice sound sleep. You awake feeling like someone touched you from above. No grogginess, just bliss. Sorry Sour D you have been dethroned. If you want a true experience the buck stops here. 100/10

UK Cheese as the name suggests smells like a nice cheddar cheese. I've tried several itierations of this and its like a good friend never letting you down. The high is quite mild and relaxing both mentally and physically, with no paranoia or aniexty to boot. The only negatives with this gem are dry mouth, and the bud reallllly reeks so contain it wisely. The come down is subtle and gentle, this could be a great daytime smoke.

Elevate the senses with this piney iteration of the Gorilla family. This hybrid will initially send your mood into the clouds as the daily stress and fatigue melt away. It's a lovely functional high, sort of like Sour Diesel but I found it to be more stimulating for conversation. After the initial sativa-like effects wear off, you are greeted with an indica sleep inducing drowsiness that really puts you down. Smell is very similar to taste with a piney, diesel, earthy flavour that is not too strong but a pleasant mix on the tongue. No anxiety or paranoia just slight dry mouth and dry eyes. Lovely strain for winding down your day.

You know when you have this strain in your possession due to the pure blissful gasoline smell it omits. My favorite strain and for good reason. The taste is much like the smell but the effects it induces are mind boggling, I genuinely believe bud like this will one day replace benzodiazepines and anti-depressant medications. Smash through your stress and reach a euphoric equanimity I can only compare to meditation. I can't give enough praise for this bud...

One can see why this strain is so highly regarded. Lovely indica style effects without the typical couchlock lethargic feeling from other types of indica. Lovely earth smell which follows through to a smooth smoke with just a tad tingling sensation on the throat. This bud is wonderful on its own but mixed, in particular with a high CBD strain like Charlotte's Web and you get the ultimate in anti-anxiety and muscle relaxation. I could not say more positive things about Bubba, for starters and pros alike!

However this is consumed, be forewarned that a fuse is lit as soon as this is taken in. One may think it's meh or so-so BUT WAIT... If smoked, in around 10 minutes after consumption, you will be jolted into the stratosphere wondering what in the fuck?? This one was a rollercoaster of ebbs and flows with soaring euphoria mixed with classic sativa space cadet vibes, which mellows off after 2-3 hours of pure sedated relaxation. Not for amateurs because it can easily be over consumed due to a delayed high. Get set.... Ready.... GO! Thats GSC in a nutshell.

Wonderful strain. I would like to start by saying the smell has an awesome zesty lemon scent which is quite pleasureable. The taste follows through as well leaving a nice mildy lemon flavour in your mouth, I also noticed a little bit of an earthy taste but it was not too prominent. Most importantly the effects were awesome giggles and euphoria for miles with no noticeable paranoia or anxiety. Only downside is typical cotton mouth/dry eyes. Come down was blessed and seasmlessly blended into the remainder of the night. I would recommend this for newbies in small doses and for seasoned vets all the same. Lovely strain all around!

If there was ever something one would consider a "clean" high, this is it. Everything you want in a Sativa minus the negatives (racing thoughts, anxiety, paranoia). As an occasional user using a small amount, roughly 100mg, in a joint was enough to turn everythig up to 11. Melt away stress and enduce a functional relaxation that was quite pleasureable. Slept this beauty off and feel as if nothing transpired the previous night. TOP SHELF high all around.
