Just attended Green Theory's grand opening in Factoria. I had visited their other location in Bellevue, but hated the parking. But it is always fun to visit a new neighborhood store. So I gave it a look over. I hope Green Theory will take my comments as helpful suggestions, if they truly want to succeed in the new location. I am hoping they do. First, the shelves were understandably somewhat barren. Hey, they just moved in! The bud tenders were polite, and helpful. The parking is better. It is the price gouging that pisses me off. Their online prices, and in store prices do NOT include sales/cannabis taxes. So a 15 dollar gram is 22 dollars when you get the bill. A 56 dollar eighth is really 80 dollars. This is inexcusable. I have much better choices in neighborhood shops in the area who are not looking to gouge me. Not going back until they change their advertised pricing policies. It is a shame.

Another high CBD strain lover here. Frida is a charming and disarming lady. I am not sure why it is classified as indica. It certainly is relaxing and calming, but that is due to the CBD. Anyway, reviews of high CBD strains rarely include "this weed ripped my face off - I was soooo stoned!' That is not the point of high CBD strains. But the example I purchased from The Novel Tree certainly does what it is supposed to do. I have terrible anxiety and stress issues, and Frida knocks that stuff to the curb. And it really puts me in a relaxed, ever so slightly stoned land of comfort. Cannotonic, and now Frida are my go to stress relievers. Kudos to Raven Grass on this excellent strain.

I have been coming to the Novel Tree exclusively since early November 2014. I am continually knocked over by the quality, both of the products and the service. I have never had a question unanswered. And when I have a question the particular bud tender is unsure of, it will lead to a friendly discussion until the answer is confidently arrived at. I have been steared away from options that may not fill my unique requirements. There is nothing not to recommend. The Novel Tree is exactly what a retail marijuana shop should be. I also look forward to the frequent Meet The Farmer events. Always an informative and satisfying experience. Can't recommend enough.

First time trying a high CBD strain. Stuff I got from The Novel Tree is 7.5% CBD and 6% THC. It is magical! Not a Freaked Out and Fried high, an extremely relaxing "I am on a cloud... my thoughts are clouds... we will ascend to the stars together" kind of high. My favorite night time snack. Highly recommend.

I am surprised Alice has not gotten more loving reviews, but every strain works differently on different people. That is why we are lucky there are so many. Alice in wonderland is a solid sativa with plenty of head high. For me what makes it unique is its ability to conquer time. I swear, every time I vaporize this I can be grooving to some music (Stravinsky's Firebird is a great choice) I feel hours have passed, but a quick check of the clock tells me it has only been 30 minutes. That's a good trick. I love Alice.
