Verde - Willamette

6/14/2019
Howdy jimmyinspazZz here, I would call myself a regular at Eugreen on Willamette St in downtown Eugene. This is not my review of the establishment itself for that in proper is too long-winded for my simple acknowledgement of the second shift lady manager. To be more specific the really pretty gal with dark hair who has been around the longest-ish out of the current posse of budtenders at that location. Apologies for my memory loss (comes with the territory) of your name my dear, but you are fabulous!! I appreciate that even though you are in the final stretch of the night with stuff to do after a long day of serving stoners and assholes, but never both at the same time because we know that a stoner could never be an ass =) Oxymoron?? Did someone say my name?? I digress, thank you for taking the time to talk cannabis with me and being a friendly face. Always kind, always passionate and one of the main poignant reasons jimmyinspazZz makes Eugreen Health Center part of my dispensary hop. You go girl, hook her up with a raise =) Can you imagine how long the full Eugreen review is? Just wait, peace

Critical Cure

9/27/2018
Critical Cure is calming for both body and mind which allows for restoration. Has a sweet taste similar to hay or sweetgrass so can be nice to mix with other tastier strains. Blue Dragon, sativa dominant is a good mixer because of strong blueberry dessert taste which seems to level off the overwhelming sedative effect of Ccu. Otherwise this flower has a very mellow jello effect leaning into a medical grade high aka sedated & sleepy.

Holy Ghost

9/27/2018
This strain tasted awesome carrying the way the flower smelled in the jar all the way to my tongue without missing a beat. The terpenes in Holy Ghost Haze are very vibrant reminding of a sativa yet without an overwhelming animated sativa buzz. One of the few strains I would suggest for depression because it rides the hybrid middleground very well without ever getting boring. The pain relief was limited so this being a more social high would be great for recreational purposes. Usually not a fan of middleground hybrids, but this strain is one jimmyinspazzz would suggest.

Dosidos

7/18/2018
Do Si Dos did not lean very indica dominant with my body chemistry which turned out to be a positive. This strain is very medicinal with a decent amount of pain relief which is displayed in a warm, numbing all over body. Maybe that is where it can be confused with that awesome body high associated with some indicas. Most other aspects of buzz were heady with a motivating coffee like vibe that progressed from the wave of muscle relaxing that initiates the high from first puff. A very functional strain with smooth smoke and the kind of hybrid buzz that #jimmyinspazzz really enjoys. The flower itself was a treat to take pictures of being purple, green, orange in no particular pattern. Very dense with funky little buds almost foxtail that smelled earthy, a little skunky, with a high that stays around for a long time.

Scout's Honor

Enjoyed this strain. Smooth kush smoke with sweet doughy overtones starts out low key buzz working up to a pretty heavy high if enough is smoked. Flexible high that can be social or if enough of this bud is ingested a flat out stoned. More netflix than knocked out. The flower is the cherry on top with beautiful dark purple cemented throughout an even deeper, darker green nugget of dense masterpiece. Neat cannabis that everyone should try at least once and will be a regular for me as long as in rotation.

Purple Kush

7/14/2018
This is a favorite flower for the light sweet taste it leaves on the tongue. Of equal importance is the smooth, not at all heavy buzz that is perfect for a group smoke amongst heavy smokers & first time alike. Only thing is this is a more medicinal cannabis which is not so social after 20-30 minutes in which a sleepy, relaxed mood will take over. Not over the top pain relieving so there is not a complete sedation just an overall lull with tendency for space out.

Strawberry Kush

This strain tasted like wood chips smell like. Leafly gives a good jab at describing it as "musky" being a more positive leaning considering patchouli is a nice spicy version. A bit ranker on the scale would be armpits which can go either way as for attraction. Strawberry Kush is wet cardboard box musky with a high that is just as flimsy. The flower structure was nothing short of fabulous with big fluffy light greenish yellow hued buds woven together with orange haired perfection. Def pretty.

Cookies and Cream

My feelings could go either way with this strain. There is not much to it honestly in regards to substance. The buds are average reminding me a lot of beasters with same uniform shape of a little turd. One thing to note in a positive regard is that the flower is perfect for rolling joints. Nuggets being that perfect middle ground between fluffy and super dense that crumble between your fingers like flour. This is a lifesaver for me with this strain because my preference is to mix C&C with other fruity or unique tasting. For example some Root Beer Float bud or Northern Berry which I experimented with both with fabulous results. Smoking a spliff combo while typing of Marionberry Kush X Cookies & Cream and tastes like those little cookies with fruit in middle all jelly like Grandma used to have. Which does leave me with the opinion the taste closely resembles the namesake although a bit oreo, but a super flat landing. It could sawdust my tastebuds say or that yummy ice cream flavor I love. Think I'll go with the latter on this one, but the flavor is more of a vibe that goes with this strains name. Finally, the buzz, because lets face it weed with tasty terps is the bomb and the way I shop these days, but..... but really if it was the only cannabis available yet tasted like dog shit (which I cannot really say because I love Dog Shit Cherry Pie and Dog Shit for that matter so so much =) anyway back track....and tasted like alligator jizz most of us stoners would still smoke it for the buzz. And this strain never really got me there unless mixing it with other weeds. Not more potent strains more like awesome flavor combos really brought this simple dessert coined wallflower weed to life.

Purple Gorilla

4/10/2018
Purple Gorilla is a good smoke. That it skews toward the indican side is definite, but there is a vigorous sense of euphoria underneath the relaxation. The buzz never laid on too thick even after smoking a few bowls which can be a positive or a negative depending. Good herb for taking to a party for these reasons. The kind of hybrid that might be used for a someone trying pot for the first time. Flavor is nothing overly exciting. There is a sweetness very similar to grape with the spicier overtones of fennel mixing in. It is a nice taste, but would be nice if the Purple Kush pushed through nore in the final flavor. Smoke is a bit on the harsher end. Buds were purple. Go figure!! Compared to prettier purples like Black Cherry Soda or Starberry even the color was nothing to jump up and down about. Mediocre but would def but again for 5 bucks a gram. If those Purple Kush genetics push through a little more in someones grow I would pay way more.

Carpet Tape

4/1/2018
There is honestly nothing for me to say negative about Carpet Tape itself. The buds are perfect to look at with a fluffy look yet dense feeling when breaking apart. Reminds me of chalk or astronaut ice cream in texture that just crumbles into perfect bud for joints, pipes, or bongs. An all around kind of herb that I imagine is also a tasty concentrate. May a joint be suggested with this flower at least once because the terpenes seem to build up to a powerhouse of very unique flavors more on the deeper gassy coffee-esque vibe. Anything but hyper though because the buzz can be adjusted anywhere from indica's blanket of calmness & sleep to a mellow night with friends. It is functional, but not focused with a medicating body numbness much like a muscle relaxer. Much in the arena of Obama Kush or even Jager with a splash more energy. Love the taste plus the buzz is steller with a place in the group of rare cannabis strains bought weekly. That being said there might be one thing about this strain that is a little rough. Everywhere that I have seen this is a top shelf usually costing about what a gram was on the black market. Try not to be too partial considering how many dispensaries traversed per day, but my number one shop since opening. And actually a few weeks before I took pictures of the graffiti art outside & inside so was stoked to find this sweet spot for guaranteed only heady, terpene popping cannabis at decent rates, but often steals. Like this Carpet Tape at 5 bucks a gram has me spoiled that paying over 10 although worth it is not alright with me. So paying the cost to smoke the boss is down the road, but as of now Grasslands in Eugene Oregon has me on a weekly diet. The funky flavor is superb alone or for mixing with other flower. Very strong, but once adjusting to this buzz it is a multi purpose stoned with more medicinal uses than mention-able. A must try for anyone who loves dank weed.
