I made the newb mistake of confusing this strain with Afghooey, which is a hybrid rather than a straight indica. I tried Afgooey first and wasn't paying close attention the second time I acquired it and was about to be disappointed at the inconsistency! I thought Afgooey had let me down for pain relief! But it turned out that what I chose wasn't Afgooey but the often-confused Afghooey! The hybrid isn't as good for pain relief as the straight indica. Easy way to remember the difference: the extra H is for hybrid. Not to say both strains aren't nice or one is better than the other but the indica Afgooey is much better for pain and a lot more gentle of a buzz. Afghooey is anything but gentle and makes for a more active/creative time. Both will put you to sleep eventually.

While not really effective on dulling my pain, this strain was strong enough that I found I really didn't mind the pain as much. Really burns on the first draw so take it easy and work into it. Pleasant taste and smell; kind of fruity and woody. An arousing zipper-popper as it starts to wear off, so you don't want to be alone as the Pineapple Express pulls into the station. Enjoy the ride with someone you love.

Loved this strain, and though others reported a citrus smell and taste, I got more of a lavender/soapy smell and taste. Even though it was rather smoky, it didn't hang in the air long or make everything stink like some others I've tried. It's very strong, but mostly pleasant as it hits you in the face like a mack truck. Killed the pain in less than 2 hits, pleasant body buzz the rest of the night. NOT a weekday weed.

I was a little iffy when I pulled up to the place. It looks a little rough on the outside. There is no sign, just a green building... and inside was dark and very claustrophobic. BUT... the people were amazingly helpful and considerate... very willing to help someone new. I can overlook a LOT for great customer service.

Slow build and pleasant. Not an overpowering aroma. Smooth. Good for when clear thinking is required. Decent pain relief. Warm and fuzzy feeling all over.
