I'm an indica guy, but I work in a creative field and I wanted to try a sativa that could enhance my productivity and creativity without creating anxiety (often associated with sativas, and a condition I have severe challenges with). Blaze was recommended to me by Bridge City Collective in SE Portland (amazing place), and I was so impressed that after I bought a test gram I went back and bought a half ounce. Highly highly highly recommend!

I LOVE Bridge City in the SE. It's right across the street from where I work and just so happens to be a shop run by the nicest, most knowledgable budtenders I've ever come across. The only deduction I gave was 4/5 regarding "atmosphere" simply because there's not much by way of decor or anything like that. But hey, who cares, right? It's about the quality and the service -- and boy, do they get that right. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend.

I can't say enough about Uplift. Their selection is varied and always comes from excellent growers. Their budtenders are always extremely helpful and nice. It's my favorite spot in PDX, without a doubt.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a batch that was 10% THC and a whopping 19% CBD. All I can say is that it's the most functional, daytime, get stuff done strain I've ever smoked. Not only that, its medical effects are incredible. Decreased anxiety while simultaneously increasing productivity and energy, helps with pain and inflammation -- all around winner.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Did I say wow? I think I covered it. Really great hybrid -- one of my favorites. Combines the best from both the indica and sativa worlds to create a very functional, extremely pleasant high...Again, wow. If you can find this strain, buy it.

I know a lot of people who love J1. The smell is fantastic, the quality of the bud is traditionally very high, however, if you're like me and suffer from anxiety -- it's just not the right strain. It jacked my anxiety up to 11. I could see how someone who likes sativa-leaning, high-powered hybrids would fall in love with this strain. If that's you, disregard my review. But if you're anxious at all, proceed with caution.

First of all, I'm EXTREMELY picky when it comes to what strains I'll smoke. For months I sampled strain after strain trying to find that perfect nighttime indica that was strong enough to tire me out, but reserved enough to keep me from being completely glued to the couch or feeling "too high". This is it. Hands down my favorite indica of all time. If you're an indica smoker and you haven't hit 9 lb hammer, don't hesitate!

For me, this strain is 4/5, but I'm saying 3/5 because this is certainly not a strain for everyone. If you're a sativa fan and want that uplifting, activated high, look far far far away from Tahoe OG. This strain is a powerhouse and really knocks you out. The high is very strong and not for inexperienced users. If you want something that's going to be extremely sedative, this is it. If you want to be able to get off the couch and do, well, anything, good luck. The 1 star deduction from my own personal rating is simply because Tahoe has a knack for giving you a weed hangover (yes, that's a real thing!). I often wake up feeling very dehydrated and sluggish after a night of Tahoe OG. It subsides quickly, but it's a bit irritating. If you need a really relaxing night and a super deep sleep, I highly recommend it!
