Cat Piss

One of my frequent strains when I was a teen experimenting with the stuff. After smoking it, I would often go swimming or on a walk. Did some really stupid things while high on this though. As an idiot kid, this was fine. As an adult with a degenerative nerve disorder, this doesn't do for me what other strains do. If you require nerve-pain relief I suggest another strain. If you have muscle pain, I bet this will work somewhere around 50% for you.

Red Haze

Never experience dizziness or headache, as some folks have said in the negatives on their reviews. My only negatives have been dry mouth and dry eyes. Munchies are controllable. No couch-lock to speak of.

Red Haze

This is what Chester the Cheetoh Cheetah would smoke before going to his favorite jazz bar on saxophone night. You want a bud that will mellow you out yet open your mind and make things super-cool? This is for you. For nerve pain, I give it a 9 out of 10. It's a good relaxer, so it'll probably work well with muscle pain, tension, stress, etc. I bet it works well on depression and anxiety.

Platinum OG

Ok, I smoked this again to see if it had the same effect. The answer is yes. It'll make you talk and talk and talk and talk and talk for about three hours straight. Effect on pain is mediocre compared to other strains. If you suffer from depression this will cheer you up.

Combine with Red Haze, smoke them together and you'll have what Chester the Cheeto Cheetah would be smoking before going to a jazz bar. Together they're just an excellent way to end, start, or go through your day. Work great together for nerve pain, which is why I take it, so the pain goes away and I can sleep or do things.

Platinum OG

Platinum OG, well... a friend of mine who works at the co-op I frequent had some and suggested I try it. I was please by this one but didn't like how damn TALKATIVE it made me! I couldn't shut up! The smoke was good, not too thick, but more thick than not. The taste was awesome, I bet it would go great on pasta - not talking about making pasta to medicate with, I'm talking get rid of your basil and grind some of this on top of your sauce. :P Pain-wise, it was ok. I smoke for nerve-pain, and this wouldn't eliminate the pain but did reduce it to a tickling/tingling feeling as though someone had rubbed icy-hot on the leg my nerve damage is in. I have no complaints about this one, but won't be purchasing any of my own due to the talkative thing. If your job is to talk though, this right here is the one for you.

Purple Kush

Purple Kush was the first thing I tried after getting certified. Where I was really impressed at first, when I found strains better-suited for my pain I never went back to the Purple Kush. The smell and look both leave something to be desired. The taste is hoppy, almost reminded me of grass though. The high creeps up on you a little slowly, but when it hits - get ready to zone out. I smoke to relieve nerve-pain, and I give this a 6 out of 10 for that. Some of the pain still got through but it was dissipated. There are better strains out there, but if this one is in your area and you can't find anything better - it will do just fine.

OG Kush

OG Kush is a good little strain. The smell isn't unique or anything and the look is "usual" with nothing all that appealing about it. Tastes a little minty, very hoppy, a little citrus note in there. I would say this is the best head-high I've experienced, but I noticed a slight headache and the spins last time I smoked it that I didn't notice the first time. Still, I was as sociable as normal and was able to stay on-task and think without distraction. If you're looking for a feel-good moment that won't fog you over and with very little couch-lock, this is what you're looking for. My only negatives overall are my eyes got VERY dry and itchy and the pain relief kinda sucks; which is why I'm somking in the first place. I give it a 6 out of 10 for nerve-pain, and a 7 out of 10 overall.

Sour Diesel

Sour Diesel is the IPA of cannabis. The smell is like hops, slight citrus, lemongrass, and really reminds me of my favorite IPA style beers. The taste is a cool, smooth, herbal flavor that makes my mouth water uncontrollably the instant I inhale or even smell it. The smoke is thick, but not overpowering. The high hits you pretty quick. I suggest you buy rice-cakes to eat when you're munching because you could eat your weight in junk food smoking this stuff. It won't knock you out or couch-lock you unless you want to be couch-locked or want sleep, and I often find myself watering my grass or doing other yard-work when I smoke this one. My primary use for it is for nerve-pain relief, for which I give it a 9 out of 10. My pain keeps me awake, and I primarily smoke this before bed because not only does it help me fall asleep but it also eliminates the pain that would otherwise make it hard to go to sleep and wake me up often. Wish I had a photo, but my last refill was the bottom of the jar... not pretty for pictures. It has a nice green color with pretty long orange hairs. Kind-of sticks to the fingers like cotton-candy.
