Seoul Cannabis represents the melting pot of the clashing of cultures and laws that was emblematic to manny Asian-Canadian & American experiences. To this day, you see popular Korean-American hip-hop artists go to Korea and be imprisoned for cannabis use, and any vocal support is silenced due to the harsh laws and societal view on cannabis. We look to represent the changing nature of such societal views and help imprint a positive cannabis impact locally and abroad.
The iconic Seoul Cannabis rabbit exists to take a stand on a cultural export that represents the North American melting pot experience. According to an old Korean folk tale called Myuobongindo, "way back when Tigers smoked pipes", (a.k.a. once upon a time), the rabbit is a figure of goodm using his wits and trickery. For us this rabbit represents a new story that is being written for cannabis as legalization becomes the norm.
