This is one of those strains that just feels like it plugs into my DNA, a perfect match. No downsides that I can find, just a perfect non-heavy indica that is perfect for being social or vegging out w/ the TV or video games. I don't find the same impact with other "cake" strains. But Lava Cake hits just right.

One of my top 5 strains, I make sure to always have this on hand. When I plan to listen to music, this is my #1 strain for pulling on some headphones and putting on whatever. Doesn't matter, Orangutang will make it all sound amazing. Gives me a fun rushy ear-to-ear grin while grooving along. Even if I have other plans, a couple tokes and my plans have changed and there I am with headphones bobbing along. Great accompaniment for a walk in the woods as well. Everything "pops" as I'm cruising along with a nice mild body high and that cheshire-like grin.

I opened the package to find the buds we a very light lime green color. Firm but not dense. Lots of white trichomes. Ground up really nicely. Has a nice lemon/gas aroma. Taste is mild, a bit spicy. This also happens to be the strain, among scores of others, that compelled me to leave my first Leafly review. The first thing I noticed is this made my mouth pleasantly numb. Like I had sucked on a menthol losange without the menthol. Everything that came after was mellow mellow mellow. I typically smoke at night, and I typically veer from sativa hybrids, I get way too into my head. This did nothing of the sort. I was able to pay attention to what I was doing/watching, played a story-heavy video game, did some cooking. All without a single care. No heavy body effect, no distracted thoughts, nor did it make me feel dumb. Almost invisible except for a fully-functional walking on clouds. A remarkable strain that I had never heard of and picked up on a whim. And with any luck it'll be a common companion.
