Buds are so purple they look black until you get a much closer look then you can see the it's just as the name suggests VERY deep purple... Smells like grape soda and black tea, doesn't taste as punchy as it smells and looks with a bit of a creamy mild berry flavour with a hint of pepper, but this strange looking strain has some really nice medicinal qualities.

I find this strain quite bland if I'm being honest... The aroma is stronger than the flavour... It smells just like a waffle cone, not much more to say, but when it comes to the flavour it's a bit of let down... it doesn't have that caramely, malty hit you expect from a waffle cone, rather a more subdued flavour profile... massively improved by sprinkling in a little bit of Purple Punch or similar... Not just to enhance the dull flavour but also to improve it's medical properties... This strain has way too many "sativa" like properties for me, as in to say, it has very little medicinal value. I have been smoking Indica and Indica heavy hybrids for 25+ years for fibromyalgia, nerve damage, severe depression and anxiety, so I'm perhaps a little biased. It does help a little with a mood lift and energy boost but it is short lived. And because there is very little pain killing value in this strain it is hard to take advantage of the energy boost... and the fact that in my opinion, weed should be sedating, and relaxing... this strain, and many others like these days are unfortunately the opposite of that... Bring back good old Blue Cheese.
