The RISE Medical Marijuana in Christiansburg is an excellent store. I have been to the store several times over the last 2 years. Joe and the entire staff are always so welcoming and helpful. Recently I had a product that was not helping me and I wanted to return the unopened product. Even though it was well beyond the 14 day period for returns, the staff gave me a small credit towards my next purchase. This is a very professional business. Melissa(I believe) took her time with me and went over all the products that I was interested in. She is very knowledgeable. I bought some flower and lemon cbd laffy taffy. I could eat a pound of the laffy taffy which has a very deep relaxing affect.

I stopped at Route 17 and visited Knotweed Farm — honestly, one of the coolest hidden gems I’ve found recently. It has a relaxed farm stand vibe with original artwork on the walls and a creatively arranged setup. The dispensary is connected to a fly shop and gift shop, which might seem odd but actually works really well. . The staff was friendly, the space is lovely, and it’s exactly the kind of place where you’d want to stay a while. Definitely worth detouring from the highway.

I am a 100% disabled veteran, wounded in Iraq in 2003. I have severe pain, PTSD and social anxiety just to name a few things. I really didn't know what to expect going here, it's an hour drive for me so it was long. When I got there, nervous as hell, first thing you do is check your temp on a wall mounted thermometer. Being my first time there was a page I had to fill out. Honestly I don't remember a single question (I have a tbi) but I know it was basic stuff and quick. The lady at the front desk was nice. Was a quick 5 min exchange of stuff i.e the paper work and your card n whatnot. The normal. Then they let u in the back. The budtenders are friendly, knowledgeable easy to talk to people and beautiful. All in all it's a awesome dispensary. Def better prices and amount of stock than my previous dispensary in Brookville. The boss gave me a free hat!! I know it's just a hat but Ayr Wellness definitely takes the time to make sure all of its customers are well taken care of.
