I am from Southern Maryland visiting Seattle, and this place was awesome.
Great visit for someone still learning the ropes of modern cannabis. Grabbed some edibles on sale and the person working was very helpful in explaining the highs of each. Also just felt less intimidating and more efficient than other places I’ve visited.
I love the atmosphere. I like the professionalism and qualified staff. I find this place to be genuinely dedicated to their customers needs. Also, the atmosphere is super nice and clean but not too sterile. I battle cancer and I am prone to occasional brain fog which triggers frustration & yup, tears. I have to give a shout out to Cass working last Friday night. I swear her name tag said Cass sorry if I’m wrong. Can I just say that she was so dang amazing. She listened to me like I was the only one there, then she whips out perfect amount of compassion and then humor? Seriously, shows what real customer service is about. I went home grateful. Thank you Higher Leaf for your kindness I was prescribed Marijuana by my doctor because of a catastrophic ear injury. Marijuana helps me deal with my heinous symptoms. The staff at Higher Leaf have gone above and beyond in helping me get my medicine. I order on line, and call from Higher Leafs parking lot to let them know I arrived. They turn off the music before I enter, and a budtender makes sure the door to the store doesn't slam as customers are coming and going. Thank you, Higher Leaf for helping me get through this difficult time.
The staff at Origins were incredibly friendly and inviting. I was helped right as I could walk in and was informed on all new products that were in. The manager, Jonny, was very educated on the items in the store. Ended up picking a cartridge and was told about a different one that would be about the same price and more of what I was looking for. I went to pay at the register and figured out I was a couple bucks short so I was going to walk to the ATM. The manager told me not to worry about it and sent me on my way. I was floored, they do it well at Origins and take care of their customers and it definitely showed here. Definitely gonna double dip on tip next time.

The service is the best in the country. They have a great selection and the prices are the best I have found in Illinois. They have rewards and it adds up fast. You can order online or just stop by/walk in. If you have questions they have knowledgeable Bud tenders who don't BS or push the old stock on you. I will definitely keep coming back. Was a little hard to find my first time; look for the Lucid sign near some high voltage lines along Auburn Way, same parking lot as a coffee stand - it's a small shop with frosted windows towards the back of the complex. Staff were friendly and flower selection seems pretty good with both quality and budget options - ounce of Zoo Dawg I got from them looks great! Was not busy early evening on a Saturday - easy in and out, good online order experience. Definitely keeping them in mind next time I need to run errands near Kent/Auburn!
My bud tender today was Sara. She's always so nice and very helpful. I'm still learning the "weed talk" and Sara has helped tremendously.
