I just happened to find this shop while I was visiting the area and had a very pleasant and easy experience. The online descriptions were accurate and helpful, and I was very happy with the flower I chose from their well balanced selection.

I have chosen The Hempest as my favorite pot shop in Northampton. It reminds me of the Oregon Coast shops I used to live near. The product has been top notch. the folks there are friendly, the prices are fantastic. There is a nice vibe in there, people are enjoying working there, this is a good spot.

Drove over 90 minutes to their Northampton location to actually be able to say that I am now getting my stash directly from Cheech & Chong at their own storefront. As someone who truly appreciated their films in their youth. It fulfils a 21 year long dream of mine. It was an amazing photo worthy experience I will always remember. Their staff are super friendly and helpful. They sincerely work with you to really dial in discovering the effects you want. To help connect you with the right products that they have in stock within your budget. Their deals are absolutely outstanding. I was here tonight my 1st time,the woman who took care of me was literally amazing!! Such a sweet woman and wasn't pushy at all ,let me smell everything I wanted without seeiming like I'm being to much. She was happy to.do it . Even let me get grams of a few diff flowers I wanted to try. I will absolutely be back from here on! I found my new spot! The product is what I've been looking for! A great shop! It was a fun purchase, pretty much Dale (I think that was his name - cool dude!), and I just hung out talking about what we like in a high, and he recommended some great strains—walked out with a full allotment and looking forward to coming back.

I've been to dispensaries in DC, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York...all over. I'd say in regards to quality and overall experience, this is one of my top 3 favorite. Each time I visit the eastern shore, I stop here.

Everything about this place is awesome. I used to go to a dispensary in E Amherst and it was so inconvenient and so much more of a process every time I went. This one had a personal appeal, i told them what i was looking for and she showed me exactly what I was looking for. It's my new dispensary of choice

Madeline was awesome! She helped me pick out an edible and really took the time to explain the ingredients and how everything works. You can tell she’s very knowledgeable about the products she carries, and she made the whole experience easy and comfortable. I appreciated how patient and informative she was while helping me choose something that would be right for me. Great customer service and a great attitude — definitely a budtender who knows her stuff!

Great place but a little disappointed after driving 45 minutes to find they wouldn't honor what was on my invoice, saying 1 ounce was the limit. If so, they shouldn't have sent back the Leafly invoice showing my more ordered products if they weren't going to fill it all.

Was in the area and stopped to pickup gummies for sleep. I always take advantage of visiting places where rec mariquana is legal since I live in the ass backwards state of NC where we're ruled by republicans that have gerrymandered the districts to hell and back so they can control people's lives. lol, Funny but I'm serious at the same time. NC will likely be the last state to legalize pot but it'll probably happen only after it's legalized federally. Anyway, about this store, fantastic! Organized, with helpful staff, and reasonably priced. I have been to rec dispensaries in New Mexico, Colorado and California. California and New Mexico stores are excellent and I place this store in the same league. I may not need to bother with visiting these places much longer as the Cherokee tribe in Western NC is opening up for Rec Mariquana on their land on Sept 7th - so next month. They can do this as a sovereign nation, and the best part is they are driving the republican legislature of NC batty. It's fun to watch them twitch when they can't rule people... lol, and the revenue they are forfeiting by not legalizing is a clear demonstration of stubborn stupidity. I highly recommend Chesapeake Apothecary in White Plains, a great experience, great staff.
