Fire & Flower wants Canadians to remember their name as the brand methodically plots their retail rollout across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario.
The chain’s Kingston outpost is the second in Ontario for the company, next to Ottawa, while a Toronto location is definitely in the works for this ever expanding cannabis brand.
Expect to see more from Fire & Flower as the legal landscape evolves. With nearly 30 stores across the country, competing retailers are surely following the tail of this fire (and flower) breathing dragon.
Just off Kingston Harbour near Shoppers Drug Mart, banks, popular restaurants, and other neighbourhood mainstays, this downtown Brock Street location couldn’t be better.
Right in the middle of the action on Brock, this Fire & Flower space occupyies a nice storefront along Kingston’s commercial strip. Walk in passed the vintage facade and you’ll find yourself in a bonafide cannabis treasure trove.
Warm earth tones greet you inside, with wood beams, industrial lighting, and exposed brick, you’ll have a hard time leaving this lofty space.
On your right, you’ll notice display cases housing accessories, while tables in the centre of the store offer sensory jars for examination.
Both novice and experienced cannabis consumers will find everything they need at this store, and if you’re ever having trouble, experienced staff are on hand to help.
The interactive strain wall categorizes bud into helpful colour-coded groups that allow you to shop by desired effect rather than strain name. Shop by strains organized under the headings; Boost, Engage, Connect, Mellow, Rest, and Spark.
You can then refine your selections into physical format. Whether you’re looking for dry flower, preroll, or oil, follow the coloured honeycombs to their respective banner, which are further refined by THC level.
The digital menu above the cash also displays Fire & Flower’s selection, if you’re looking for a grab and go experience.
Products & Pricing
The products at Fire & Flower mirror the Ontario Cannabis Store closely, along with their pricing to the cent. If you’d rather have an in-store experience and save on shipping, you can expect cost effectiveness and convenience at this bricks and mortar location.
Display cases throughout the store show off their accessory and ancillary offerings, with items from Alberta-based BRNT, tasters from RYOT, house branded grinders, storage solutions, a selection of papers, and colourful glassware.
There’s no shortage of extras here, and you can get everything you need for your desired cannabis experience at this friendly one-stop shop.
