Blue Dream
1/9/2017
When I started growing this past spring Blue Dream was one of the strains I tried. I have an indoor grow op that's small, just 3'x3'x56". Blue Dream was in the second batch of strains I tried. I thought it was easy to grow and did well indoors. My buds were dense and smelled wonderful- sweet, fruity and fresh. The two plants took a full 12 weeks to flower but I was also fiddling around with my set up and my lighting. I dried them for a few days then cured them in a C-Vault for a few weeks. The first hit was divine. I use a Firefly 2 and/or a G-Pen Elite. The Firefly really gives the best sense of aroma and taste and BD didn't disappoint.
It tastes sweet and fruity and gives a nice mix of head and body stone. I have arthritis in my thumbs and shoulder and while the ache is still there, I just don't care that it is! I can knit which was my goal. BD is also nice for vapeing all day long and although you won't get much done you can still do mindless chores like laundry or unloading the dishwasher. And those dull chores are much more fun when you are high, aren't they?
I am 63 years old and hadn't gotten high in 43 years but my MD was prescribing hydrocodone for pain and I didn't want to take it long term. I researched cannabis and decided that was well worth a try even though live in a prohibition state. I'm glad I did. After trying ten different strains, Blue Dream is my first pick and the one I'll be growing again and again.
