Thru the door I connected with a Black security officer that was not only courteous and knowledgeable, he also went to an HBCU (Tennessee State University). The check-in process was less cumbersome than some of the other dispensaries nearby. When I got to the back, I appreciated the layout as well the ridiculous assortment of weed everywhere. Joy and Rae made my first time at House of Mary Jane memorable. They were super friendly and had good vibes. I came in already knowing I wanted Sour Diesel but ended up leaving with 10 pre-rolls which were 2 for $5 (what?) and I'm not talking about random strains. I'm talking Pineapple Express, GSC, GG4 level ish. They gave me a free gift because it was my first time (pre-roll, lighter and grinder) as well. They also gave me a raffle ticket for a drawing with multiple items on it. Look, I am definitely going back to this place. Best weed, and weed experience in town!! Oh, and it's Black owned!!!! After doing some extensive research on this strain for anxiety, OCD and depression, I purchased a few grams from the Detroit Herbal Center. It did the trick immediately. Within 10 minutes, I literally felt the cloud of fog clear up almost instantly as well as the layer of depression kind of melt away. It kinda grabs the body first and then hits hard on the head for a positive and uplifting high. Super mellow! For the first time in years, I felt lighter, happier and super focused. My mind moved quickly and processed information well. I was able to connect thoughts and ideas like a normal person for a change without consistently searching for the right word. I only took 3-4 long draws before ashing it out. The goal was to see if I could use Harlequin for its high CBD low THC content as a more natural stimulant during the day juxtaposed to taking Adderral or an antidepressant. I liked this way better because I didnt have the negative side effects like with the SSRI's or stimulants like Adderral. My mind raced a little but my body was super relaxed as well. Will definitely be buying a few ounces of this stuff to last me and I will try to do away with the other stuff. Harlequin is a life saver!
