I have read articles in older (early to mid 80's) High Times, and been around the country quite a bit, first time I have ever read that this strain started in Washington?!?! Not to exhibit nationalism in any way... To my knowledge, Northern Lights has been grown outdoor in Wisconsin, Upper Michigan/Northern Michigan, Canada and Minnesota since around 77'-78'. I can actually PROVE that it was being grown in central Wisco by 1979 bc I have a collection of growers notes/notebooks which details the different methods used over a 17yr. op that resulted in the now infamous cold weather resistance that the strain is known for. I think these cats were also some of the first guys using CO2 on their indoor experiments too (1980?)! I don't want to argue at all, just didn't expect to not see Wisconsin on this description bc as far as I have traveled for many years, you tell a good grower you are from Wisco, and they ALWAYS ask about their chances of getting some "REAL NL SEEDS"?!?! Thanks all for providing such an incredible service! Keep up the amazing work!
