Nerolidol is sesquiterpene alcohol originated from the essential oils of many kinds of flowers and plants. This terpene is also known as penetrol and peruviol. Plants that contain nerolidol are jasmine, ginger, neroli, lavender, tea tree, and lemongrass. It has a fresh, earthy, and woody smell.
