MJayz Cannabis Corp -Lacombe
In August of 2018 we submitted an application to AGLC for a retail cannabis license. Due to some unforseen difficulties we weren't quite ready to open for October 17, but we were ready for November, when just 2 hours before our final inspection they put a freeze on all licenses. We tried to open as an accessory store, but found too many people were looking for cannabis, and not quite as interested in the accessories as we had hoped. We closed the store until AGLC lifted the freeze, and here we are today, now with 2 fully licensed cannabis retail stores, our first and main location in Lacombe, and now with one on the north side of Red Deer.

Monday was my second visit to Mjayz since they opened. They actually missed opening earlier by a couple of hours- (I bet product testing was at an all time high that night) First purchase- gotta love CCK. They are locals that have been locals since before opening their shop,locally. The ladies were working on a cannabis version of one two buckle my shoe.You gotta love meeting amazing yet insane people. Maybe give them your version on your next visit. WARNING WARNING!! you won't be able to get that song out of your head. One two buckle my shoe...
Super friendly and comforting environment. I always feel welcome in Mjayz. They give you candies with your purchase and sometimes they have cookies for their customers! (: Just a great, welcoming place to go and get some bud!
