I had a recent interaction with OCS customer support regarding two orders I placed on March 26th. The chat experience itself was pleasant — Danielle, the support rep, was super friendly, polite, and professional throughout. She made the process feel personable and was quick to respond once verification was complete. That said, I was a little disappointed to learn both of my orders were delayed despite being placed before the advertised shipping cut-off time. There was no notification sent out about the delay, which left me in the dark for a few days. Since I’ll be out of town when the orders finally ship, I ended up requesting a refund — something that could’ve been avoided with clearer upfront communication. Overall, the customer service rep was great, but the fulfillment side left something to be desired. Hopefully, the process gets smoother in the future!

OCS is run by the Government of Ontario and certifies and ensures all cannabis product is held to Federal Regulation as declared by Health Canada. This #1, is my main reason for being an OCA customer. #2, negative reviews from my perspective are foundational on cannabis misinformation and lack of understanding; which is totally okay since this is a new market. #3 All deliveries I’ve had in Toronto have been quick and easy, only once there was a notification glitch but the courier company will still hold themselves accountable I’m sure if there are logistic issues in the future. I love cannabis and OCS posts a hoard of new information for consumers, and I really hope we continue this system as it’s beneficial to myself. OCS is a subsidiary of the LCBO which manages alcohol sales in Ontario, so I believe very much that they are operating within safe territory for consumers. OCS has set industry standards which even apply to medical cannabis from the past, which means every time you are going to receive legit cannabis. In regards to dryness and moisture: it’s complicated, from a scientific lens. OCS sells rehydrating materials in the Accessories portion for storage and moisture control which I use. Properly storing your cannabis ensures it is smokable, and hydrated to a satisfactory and safe level. Ensure you invest in proper storage and hydration and there will be little issue—at least for me. I am a medical user of cannabis as well, so I have come to OCS with this background and as a recreational occasional user have found OCS to be a fantastic platform to purchase legal cannabis fast and safely.

I am FURIOUS with my experience. I ordered a week ago and chose Mr day shipping with Canada post. OCS chose to ship my item a week later with a third party company. Even though OCS and Canada Post are govt owned and operated. Gotta love when we pay for services with taxes but the way screw us anyway. So… the company takes a week. They bring it when I am not home and the guy says they will try the next day. I say no, I am not home. Save ur company time and save me. Come the NEXT day. No problem he says .. well they didn’t do that. They came and when I wasn’t home they said they’d send it back. When I asked for a supervisor they lied and told me the name of the company was MIM and there was no contact info for me to reach out. He would call supervisor.. except he did NOT.. immediately after, I got a msg that it was sent back. OCS is unreliable, just like everything our govt does!!! I. Ant even get away from giving them the business cuz all shops get their product from them. I applied for OCS back in the day, before Fors ripped it apart and made it only online, after many people quit their jobs to work there. I had 3 interviews for a position they never intended to fill. This is how our govt runs. Why would u not use Canada post??? I avoid shopping here any chance I get! I was ordering seeds so I never have to buy from them again. Even this review is stupid, but I gotta vent about just how absolutely ridiculous OCS is operated.. just know that if you order, it won’t come in a day, so be prepared. I was told delivery is only 5-10pm. And it’s over a week later. Get ur supply fr literally anybody else

Okay, I thought I'd try the Ontario Cannabis Store after watching a CBC special on CBD...Boy, did the OCS not disappoint! Every product they supply is checked and analyzed for potency. And I concur! Shipping was crazy fast. Two days, and free. Product was potent, and the price was right! I made another order a day later for some other fun products. Well done OCS!
