About this product

Denman (AKA Pie in the Sky) is a mostly sativa hybrid that's bright green with perfectly shaped flowers and a nice dusting of trichomes. This strain has one of the most unique and strong terpene profiles of Broken Coast's offerings. Dominant terpenes of caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene offer enticing aromas of key lime pie and orange zest, translate exactly into the flavour profile. This highly sativa-dominant has an 85/15 sativa-indica split.

About this brand

Broken Coast Cannabis Logo
Established in 2013 in three modest warehouse units, Broken Coast acquired the fourth license in British Columbia to cultivate cannabis and the 12th license in Canada. Since then we've expanded into a bespoke indoor 44,000 square-foot facility situated on the shores of the Salish Sea and the emerald rainforests of Vancouver Island. We continue to develop and cultivate the highest grade cannabis, and strive to uphold the quality and reputation that BC bud has earned worldwide. Quantity has never been our goal, and we've developed rigorous standards to weed out traits that don't measure up. Only our best-performing genetics are selected for production, and even then only the strongest clones make it to harvest. Our plants are precisely pruned to concentrate energy in only the topmost colas, improving overall crop consistency and minimizing lower-potency 'popcorn' buds. From our team of master growers to the trimmers who carefully hand prepare each bud, every point in the Broken Coast production chain is designed to maximize quality and product integrity.

When I first opened it, the smell was weird. First citrus but it's like the citrus is covered in musk, It legit smells like roasted turkey to me, not pie, unless it's a meat pie. The taste is worse and remind me of dirty sock. I would not recommend, but it seems others have a different experience. So if you want to gamble it, the high is a decent non perinoia buzz. Mellow sativa high, not bad

Probably one of my new favourite sativa dominant strains. The flavour was out of this world, like breathing flavoured air in the shape of a joint. It really did taste like pie...no discernable type of pie, there were notes of apple and lime, sour cherry and watermelon...it just tasted like a quintessentially delightful pie. The effects were fairly subtle, the batch I got was around 18% THC, but the other terpenes and cannabinoids made that sacrifice of THC totally worth it. Very clear headed effects with a general tendency towards grinning. I find this to be the case with most Broken Coast products...I don't pay attention to the THC% too much as their balance of cannabinoids is always on point. The perfect accent to any outdoor activity, or even just chilling and watching Pokemon Indigo League like I did.
