Another classic by Broken Coast, Ruxton (Sour OG) has tangs of grapefruit and heavy musk, and the joint is like breathing flavoured air. Sometimes BC products are lower THC, but I don't even pay attention to the potency when buying their products. The other terpenes and cannabinoids at play more than make up for the missing THC, and an 18% joint can hit way above its weight class. Highly recommended.

There really wasn't much to this strain. The smell and effects were underwhelming. It was pretty...slightly thicker stems than is ideal but overall I'm fairly disappointed. Won't be buying this again, and, as a budtender, it makes it hard to recommend strains you don't believe in. I was hoping for more out of a classic strain like Candyland. I'd like to see a really banging Tweed product so I can feel confident recommending them more often.

Top notch. Very nice nugs, not too tight, not too airy, minimal stems and frosted like tinselled christmas trees. The smell is classic Sour strain with hints of the Sage parentage. Effects are powerful. My batch was 24% and did cause a bit of anxiety, but I'm prone to that with sativas. As a budtender I've been recommending this quite a bit lately. Lots of creativity.

Quadra (Headstash) is an expertly grown strain that leans indica-dominant hybrid, but has a lot of the uplifting, giggly effects of a sativa. This strain had me so happy that I cried about the beauty of the life cycle as I passed an elementary school (I must've looked mental) and I'm a budtender, so have a fairly high tolerance. Not too much to say as far as taste notes, I was a bit overwhelmed by the effects. O do remember it being tasty, but sort of nondescript. Definitely recommend Quadra as one of my favourite Broken Coast strains, making it one of my all time favourites.

Probably one of my new favourite sativa dominant strains. The flavour was out of this world, like breathing flavoured air in the shape of a joint. It really did taste like pie...no discernable type of pie, there were notes of apple and lime, sour cherry and watermelon...it just tasted like a quintessentially delightful pie. The effects were fairly subtle, the batch I got was around 18% THC, but the other terpenes and cannabinoids made that sacrifice of THC totally worth it. Very clear headed effects with a general tendency towards grinning. I find this to be the case with most Broken Coast products...I don't pay attention to the THC% too much as their balance of cannabinoids is always on point. The perfect accent to any outdoor activity, or even just chilling and watching Pokemon Indigo League like I did.
