A lot of good things to say about this instant of a classic, so to round things up let me just say that this is one phenomenal combination of excellent flavor/aroma and effects, almost perfect for and not lacking in any department. I had some Purple Punch Live Resin Cake Badder by Evermore and used the Puffco Peak to take small dabs. Amazing batch overall with a potency of 84.29% THCA and 12.532% total terps including 5.337% Limonene alone! Both the aroma and the taste were outstanding, with strong notes of grapes, blueberries, and citrus balanced by nice floral and creamy, like a smoothie, notes. The effects are some of the best for a indica leaning hybrid, in my opinion at least. Hard hitting but not too fast, the effects are somewhat of a creeper and slowly grow stronger until you feel like you’re on grape-flavored clouds floating along. Strong full body relaxation, a bit of a couch lock but not too much, very warm and fuzzy feeling. The weightless body with the blissful euphoria combine to make for a perfect evening experience. Your mind is drifting along, relaxed and unfazed, almost like a cerebral even hybrid high but much more relaxed, just perfect. 10/10 for me!

A true one-hit wonder, with that OG “classic stoned” feeling, 'nuff said! To elaborate… A very well balanced strain overall, definitely indica leaning for me but there is also a very cerebral stone that feels somewhat more like a sativa. The stone is strong with this one for sure, haven't felt this stoned in a WHILE, and I've had at least 30 different strains over last year and this one is stoney-baloney, so beware! Take it slow with this girl, take a couple of hits and see how you feel, it's a creeper, and the strong cerebral effects can bring on a bit of anxiety if taken in lager doses (the only downside to this strain for me). FYI the genetic for Wedding Birthday Cake are (Triangle Kush x Animal Mints), the (Cherry Pie x Girl Scout Cookies) genetic belong to Birthday Cake, and yes, those two ARE different strains, however a lot of dispensaries, growers, etc use the two strain names interchangeably so there's confusion on the genetics sometimes. This place has got to the worst dispensary in all of Montgomery County, and one that I would not recommend to anyone, ever. First of all it is very inconveniently located, the dispensary does not have a store-front, you have to drive around to the back of an odd building and somehow find your way up to the 2nd floor where there is a door to RISE with the tiniest sign ever, first time there I got lost. But the real and main reason I would NEVER suggest going to this place is that they short the weight on almost all of their flower (except brands which they receive pre-packaged and not in bulk like Curio and Verano). The first time I got two 8th ofGhost OG and BOTH were short by 0.3g, amounting to a total 0.6g loss, that is WAY TOO MUCH! The second time I came back the next day after filing a complaint and exchanged it for Skywalker OG, I was literally amazed when I came home, measured it, and found out I was SHORTED AGAIN, this time by 0.21 and .12 coming to a 0.33g for the two 8th. This kind of stuff genuinely disheartens me, and has done so at RISE, where still in this day and age, people with real medical needs like myself, especially for the prices we pay, we get ripped off by dispensaries! THIS IS NOT OK! Also it wouldn’t hurt to say that the staff is air-headed and hardly knows anything outside of the words “THC” and “Myrcene”, no knowledge, or real experiance whatsoever. The atmosphere is nothing like that of an actual dispensary, if you did not know what it was honestly you might not be able to tell: the waiting room is alright, but the actual dispensary is TINY, it’s like 100 sq ft at best, crammed as heck. They don’t have ANYTHING on display, so you can’t EVER view flower, you can smell it from a container and kinda get a glimpse a it but that’s it, and nothing else like concentrates and tinctures/rso/edibles are also not on display. The people that work in there are hardly “bud-tenders” but more so salespeople that push things onto you that you don’t need, that’s the worst quality to have for a bud-tender, they don’t know much, but they’ll make sure to try n sell you what they can! Last but not least their prices are THE HIGHEST I’ve seen, crazy $60 8ths while it’s 50-45 everywhere else for the same thing, $18 preroll is only $12 at the next place, NO PRICE BREAKS ON FLOWER (which is crazy and means that an ounce of $60 8th is $480), and just overall terrible prices for mediocre stuff you can find for cheaper at every place nearby.

I didn't find this strain to be anything "special" about OGKB (which is a GSC phenotype), but the indica leaning hybrid hit most of the spots just right making this a really nice go-to strain for evenings, nighttime, or after work if you want to really wind down. Definitely strong cerebral effects, much more so than classic GSC, the cerebral effects are almost similar to GMO, or any indica Chemdawg cross. There is also a bit of that classic chill feeling that waves over you quickly like OG Kush, which also seems to be more dominant than in other phenotypes of GSC. The buds of this flower also lean closer to a typical Kush flower and are not as dense, nor the same structure as the classic GSC. The buds themselves are olive-green, with some buds displaying some forest-green, purple-leaning leaves, with nice bright burnt-orange hairs. Away with the technical stuff, for aroma you'll get strong earthy, pine and musky notes accompanied by mild floral notes and a lemon hint, as Limonene is abundant in this strain, (sometimes this terpene profile can give a false diesel smell, especially when you have fresh ground flower it can be reminiscent of Sour Diesel). The flavor is also earthy and piney but this is where the citrus comes out the most and hits you with a mild lemon zest, which I enjoy quite a bit. The effects are very nicely balanced for an indica leaning hybrid, as I mentioned there is a good cerebral punch, along with general body relaxation, some couch lock and an improved mood that helps wind down. Smoking/vaping too much though can be anxiety inducing, as the cerebral effects sometimes can be quite noticeable. This is a very nice strain, and I would not mind having some around as a go-to, but it would only be more of a standard/filler strain for me, a great one, but not anything too unique. I'd give this a 4.5 overall, or a 9/10, decent strain from the Cookie Fam worth trying. OGKB is also coming up very quickly in the designer and micro breeding circles and making its way up, so I would imagine in a few years this strain will make a name for itself.
