Excellent flower to wind down in the evening. It starts with a general sense of well being, followed by a strong yet manageable body high. It clears your head of mental stress and negativity without causing Sativa-like anxiety and it lets me sleep like a baby as soon as my head hits the pillow. Thanks to KK (and other Indica-dominant strains) I am now able to wean myself off the Xanax that I have been taking for almost 20 years. Too bad that here in the Netherlands KK is very hard to come by. I also have some White Gumbo that does the job equally well. Strangely enough there is hardly any info on this strain.

I am more of an Indica person but I really wanted to try out a Sativa-dominant to see if the experience would be different, so I bought myself some Silver Haze this afternoon. With every new strain that I try I’m always very cautious because I have a low tolerance for THC plus a life long anxiety disorder. So I took just a pinch and smoked it through my glass pipe, basically one good hit. After only a few minutes it kicked in with a strong head high soon to be followed by a pleasant and tingly body high, slowly descending from my upper to my lower body. Ten minutes later, the effects were still increasing to a point that it was almost too much for me. I bought the Silver Haze from my local coffee shop here in Amsterdam and they are only selling top shelf flower. Man…. This is serious potent stuff! So I laid back on the couch and just let it happen. My eyes felt dry and my stress absolutely diminished. Not so much my anxiety but it didn’t became worse either. Fifteen minutes in and I became borderline couch locked. I closed my eyes and I noticed that the sounds around me (neighbors talking, birds singing, traffic, etc) got more intense and louder. Eventually I fell asleep for about half an hour and when I woke up the effects had decreased to a more manageable and pleasant level. I am writing this 6 hours later and I still feel fully relaxed, both mind and body. I did also notice that it completely took away my chronic bladder pain. The next time I will try it in my vaporizer to see if there is a difference in effects. To summarize, this is a very potent and hard hitting strain and a lot of bang for your buck, but those with low tolerance, or new smokers be warned!
