Blueberry Cheesecake reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Blueberry Cheesecake.
I love love love hybrids, and this one was perfect. It doesn’t necessarily wake me up or put me to sleep, just leaves me feeling good. I use it to treat PTSD and anxiety and it did both!
This strain gave me pretty bad paranoia and anxiety
Great strain.
Smoked a bit of this strain in a dry herb vape, started off at 365F and gradually increased to 410F. The effects were noticeable at the lower temps. The initial feeling was a quick head high- happy, euphoric feeling. The body high wasn’t overbearing, very subtle, and no couch lock.
This strain is absolutely DELICIOUS. Its smell is oddly delicate compared to most other weed that I have smoked, with an overall sweet aroma with heavy notes of cream and berry ( basically, it smells almost exactly like actual blueberry cheesecake ). When smoked, the inhalation and exhalation are both smooth and relatively flavorful, carrying over its creamy-berry aroma to a full-mouth flavor.
Full onset typically takes five or so minutes, but effects can be felt within the first exhalation. In my opinion, the high this cannabis provides is one of the best I have experienced thus far, but when sharing with others I have been given varying feedback.
My experience with this bud is one that provides full body relaxation and calming feeling of soft, body tingling joy with no negative side effects to be seen. However, both my boyfriend and sister complain of feelings of nausea and lack of appetite directly after smoking, my sister even feeling so ill she vomited. So, to put it simply, take it easy with this one. Smoking a fat bowl to yourself could end with the forfeiture of your latest meal.
Depending on dosage, this is an excellent smoke before bedtime, as it brings a totally new level to our definition of comfortable. Even a terrible, hard bed feels like a soft throne meant for only the highest of lords and ladies.
In a final note, I feel I should apologize for the length of this review! I tend to ramble a bit, as you can probably tell. Happy smoking!

Blueberry Cheesecake is the best strain to use as an appetite stimulant, for me. I find this to be its primary effect, and it is a simple and effective solution to what can become a real problem. If I am experiencing a phase in which I am having difficulty eating to the point that I no longer even feel hunger, the thought of food makes me feel ill and even just drinking water seems offensive to my system, I can interrupt the cycle with a small amount of this strain. I will prepare something healthy which I enjoy anyway when my appetite is normal, and then use a very small amount of this strain when the meal is ready - but not before; I learned that! I am then able to eat easily and enjoy the food, remain awake and do low-key but functional things for a while as my meal digests, then I am able to fall asleep quite easily later on. Other effects for me include feeling relaxed, unfocused and content but those are as likely to be results of having been able to eat comfortably and my body being satisfied. I can't be sure. Either way, it works ... : )

I have the highest testing sample of this strain on record, at 34.9% THC and 0.09% CBD (sorry I couldn't get the terp %, but it was stinky, complex and tastey. It really tasted like blueberry cheesecake, sharp, sour, sweet, and cream-cheesey!). However, that's not what inspired this review. I don't often encounter strains that make my condition worse, but this one did just that. (I use cannabis for stress management, which keeps my PTSD symptoms in check). I wont say it caused stress, but it did nothing to alleviate tension of the mind, in fact it had the opposite effect. It had a very uneasy headspace, devoid of any sort of feelings of contentment, peace, serenity, or well-being. It was not racy, paranoid, giddy, anxious, or euphoric-- just trippy, and uncomfortable...a creeper with good body relaxation, and an uneasy headspace. It made thinking and accomplishing tasks difficult, and nothing was fun in this restless, discombobulated headspace. Effects like this are extremely rare in my 23 years experience with cannabis as medicine. The sample was very clean, and expertly grown indoors-- so I know my bad experiences with this strain aren't due to dirty herb (ie; weed that has had foliar and canopy sprays applied...pesticides ect...). Perhaps it's this particular cut, but I can't recommend this batch to anyone needing stress relief, or even to anyone who just wants to get high--as the effects were not fun, or recreational. I wasn't having a bad day, Im a daily smoker and I'm not prone to having bad reactions to pot. It may just be an unusual cut, so I'll give it 5 stars to be fair!
Favorite strain! Definitely a good strain to smoke socially if you feel anxious. Personally I Felt very calm and euphoric.
