Superette - Wellington Ottawa

I love this place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service. My first few visits weren't the greatest, but I figure they were still starting up and working out the bugs, and things have definitely improved in the last year. The stock sells quickly, and is limited to what is available from the provincial provider, but I haven't had any major issues with what I've bought, fortunately. Overall, very positive experience. My go-to shop for cannabis!

convenient but I find regardless of what I'm buying high end or low it's all overdried tasteless garbage. everything tastes like outdoor and crumbles to dust at the slightest touch. disappointing to see that most of my purchase was packaged over 1 year ago

Nothing not to like wish there was one in East Ottawa but happy we have the one none the same. Great people quality and prices Al unmatched. Therefore a perfect score mind you in a perfect world where competition was forced to be more honest it would be 4.8 because thats a bit more honest. Close enough to 5 I like them they treat me well and do good by me.

High price for something that turned to powder just by touching it. Also, under a magnifier (everyone should have one if you are going to consume ANY weed), there was mold. As someone who has primary immunodeficiency, this place needs to be more aware of the products they are selling and the package dates. So I would give it 2 stars since you wouldn't need a grinder but the owner insists it isn't their fault for the product being packaged in December and they didn't open until April. Still should check the package date and not sell it..offer something else. For the people who don't have a grinder or like to throw their money down the drain, or just the fact that it is nice looking cute store clearly made to look that way for the older generation since it's all retro..this place is perfect for you. The atmosphere lost the weed culture...it just looks like an old diner that sells weed (which would be great if they did milkshakes, edibles and stuff). Definitely, catering to people who know nothing about weed. Heaven forbid ANY Rastafarian aspect is shown. I can sum this all up in two words, last resort.

I always get a little suspect when I see all "perfect, wondeful; best place; never go aware else" reviews, so I visited the store myself. Nice clean store with helpful staff, but that is the same with all the stores in Ottawa I've visited. Content on menus are similar to other stores, as well as price's. Ultimately the choice of store that you spend your money in Ottawa comes down to location. If the store is near to you, you will probably visit that store. They all are great stores and they all deserve our business! The theme in this store is not my "cup-of-tea", but does that matter in the long-run? For me it's all about the quality of the product; availability of the strains I like; and how quickly I can have access to the product. For all three criteria, all the stores in Ottawa rate a 4/5 from me. They are all basically the same "edition", with different "book-covers"!! Remember they all buy their products from the same "distributor", the Provincial Government! They are not competing amongst themselves, but against the "Black Market". Give it a few years and the Black Market will be significantly decreased. It will never go away, just like illegal cigarettes, but will be less relevant. Go out to any of the stores; take in the experience and enjoy the Cannabis!!!

Very clean and friendly

To begin with, great atmosphere! A fun retro take, nice booths to sit in while you wait. Lots of smell pods and a good display of all their accessories on the wall. The workers are always very upbeat and knowledgeable. Like all dispenseries currently they're struggling with keeping their supply to the demand, but that's something we can't put on these businesses. They don't control the quality of their product sadly, which means it can be a shot in the dark on whether or not you get old stock or not. Again, another thing we can't blame these places for. I'm excited to see how this place blooms once this bottlenecking from the government calms down.

I loved this place!!! The staff were helpful and they had a nice assortment of products. What really sets it apart is the nostalgic atmosphere! Whoever did the design and branding for this company is a GENIUS! I feel lucky - as usual - to live in Ottawa. There should be one of these in every Canadian city. You HAVE to check this place out!

Best shop in Ottawa hands down

AWESOME store, soooooo happy with my product and it HELPS SO MUCH for my cancer of the bone marrow, relief from bone pain and anxiety. God bless you all and its truly a miracle that Marijuana is now legal. My visit to the store was EXCELLENT, the service the knowledge and smelling the samples was terrific. Could hang out at this store all day! Not your basic "in and out" type of dispensary, unreal atmosphere... Can tell a lot has gone into this set up. What was more than that was the product selection and service - all of the best brands, staff clearly know the industry and what they're talking about... Impressed! Will be back soon.

A nice location that I really liked during my visit in the city and the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable

The stock is abysmal and the stress is starting to show. Bought 7g of "18% THC" only to find out it was actually 11% when I got home. Came in to return it today explaining, "the board said 18%, the box was 11%". She responds annoyed, "That's 3 and a half. The board is only for 3.5g boxes". It says this nowhere in the store. Second, the only size available was 7g, so that's what I bought. It was the top item on the board when I bought it. All around my two trips to the store took two hours, where I was charged double for bad product, and then they acted angry when I came to return it. Unbelievable.

I was not happy at all with the service at all I saw a strain in the display cases and it looked beautiful nice light green tight buds and so getting excited to have that strain I purchased it upon opening the product at home I very quickly and clearly could see that what they gave me was not the same strain as the one in the display cases and the product I got was loose leafy full of seeds and also very brown in colour vs the beautiful light green tight buds that were on the display 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Getting cannabis from Superette is just a generally good experience. Store design is fun and retro and the staff (and security guard) are all amazing and friendly. Much prefer this to buying online.

Admittedly this was my first cannabis store experience and it was incredible. There were at least 10-15 staff in store ready to help and they were knowledgeable about the products and varieties. There were explanations next to most of the products so you knew what you were looking at. The bar menu, attendees, and products in the glass near the register were the best part. People of all ages were in there and being assisted. I was hoping to buy some merch but I think they're still working on the license for that. Store layout, bright colors, and art were also super cool.
