I have been a Breakwater Customer for >7 years, and I regard them as the best dispensaries in NJ. The strains are curated for medical patients and their needs. I tried most strains over the years, and they only continue to get better. The “effects” are well defined and true- I know what kind of effect I’m going to have while smoking. Some strains help me sleep, some focus, some help me get things done around the house with a boost of energy, some make me euphoric and some not at all! I like how functional I am when using these strains. I don’t know what kind of high I’m going to have with other brands - it’s a guessing game. Breakwater is doing it right and is well ahead of other dispensaries in understanding what they’re selling. They care about quality. (No I was not endorsed by or work for them. Honest patient here). I love this place. The atmosphere is laid back and tons of stuff to explore. I have never been to a dispensary before And I was overwhelmed the first time I went through that door !!!!Everyone is always friendly and welcoming and will help you navigate through the many different options you have available to you. I really like the reading area. I could spend hours in there and drop a lot of $$$. Im there at least once a week. (For medical reasons)
This place is a cut above. Terrific service. Helpful staff who encourage asking questions and learning what is best for you. Great selection. Great prices. Comfortable, spacious and bright space. Always in-store promotions, vendor visits and giveaways, etc. Could not ask for more. I’ll be back - with friends!

I love this dispensary and everything they stand for. As a black man myself I appreciate being able to support a fellow brotha. They have great staff who are really sweet and super smart when it comes to the weed. That lil white girl gonna send yall to the moon with what she know, I know she always takes my black ass to the moon! I tell everyone to shop at the spot, cheaper and safer than the streets!

Just would like to give a shout-out to Temescal for really doing an amazing job with their decorations for Halloween! The yellow brick road was just the coolest! And thank you always to Rob for being so good to me! No matter what kind of day I’m having I always know I will walk out of Temescal with a smile because of him!
They have a great variety of quality products and top brands. The staff is amazing friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. You can really feel the owner’s passion for the industry. Overall a fantastic experience highly recommend!
Highland Botanicals offers the best experience! The first time I came in, the budtenders were so kind and walked me through each product I was interested in. They helped me pick out the items that were best for me. This is the only dispensary I go to now. I couldn't recommend them enough!

This was my first time in a dispensary and they helped me feel welcomed and encouraged me to be comfortable. Everyone was very polite and professional, which made the experience even better and fast.
I've only been twice but its real cool there. I've yet to have a bad experience at ANY dispensary really, but this review is about them. Icing on the cake was the bonus stuff the cashier threw in. Not saying that'll happen every time or for everybody, but either way, its nice dealing with cool ass people. Security at the front door is chill, too. Atmosphere is like a clean ass comic book/sports memorabilia store... except, drugs and drugs... paraphernalia :) Don't go there on any BS and I doubt you'll have a bad time.

I’ve been going here for the past few months and have been loving it. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It really feels like the staff cares about me and wants to ensure I have the best experience ever. Also they frequently have massive sales on all of their products, so I recommend waiting a bit for a holiday to come up so you can get some killer deals. Yeah, sometimes the line gets pretty long, but it always moves at a good pace so you’re never going to feel hopelessly stuck. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. This is the kind of dispensary you could bring a parent to for the first time and you know they will feel safe and accommodated for. 11/10 would reccomend to anyone.
