Ontarians have some great cannabis events to look forward to this month as the country gears up for its first anniversary of recreational legalization.

Anniversary parties, paint nights, and educational events are on tap in the province this month, so get your buds together and hit a few!

Puff & Paint

When: October 11, 9 p.m.-11 p.m.

Tweed’s 10.17 Celebration

Stop by the Tweed Visitor Centre in Smith Falls to take a tour of the grow facility and celebrate this major milestone in cannabis history. Guide tours leave every 30 minutes. Rolling Greens High Flyers Cup

When: October 20, 8:30 p.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Rolling Greens Golf Club, 551 Hwy 15, Smiths Falls

Spin, spin, sugar! Enter a monumental one-day frisbee golf tournament at the world’s first cannabis-themed 18-hole golf course! The tournament is open to players of various levels of experience from amateur to Pro Masters.

How Do I Use That? Cooking with Cannabis

When: October 3, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
Where: 136 Ontario St., Stratford

The prestigious Stratford Chef’s School Open Kitchen will cover all the bases when it comes to making delicious infused condiments for practically any dish, along with classic baked goods (mmm, brownies) that will impress your friends at your next dinner party. FYI, ingredients at the course will not be infused.
