We’ve got the latest info on open stores listed below.Cannabis will be sold by both online and in 24 retail stores by Cannabis NL, a division of Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation. Many of the stores will be located within Dominion supermarkets that have existing liquor stores.
12:01am, Canada’s First Purchase
Normal opening time is 9am, but some stores will host a special 12:01am opening on Oct. 17, to mark the first official cannabis sales in Canada. Those stores will then be obliged to close at 2am. They will re-open at 9am.
As of Tuesday morning, we were hearing that the Tweed store on Water Street and The Healthy Vibe on Water Street will both host midnight openings.
Labrador’s single cannabis shop is located in Tobin’s Convenience, in Labrador City. Tweed has a store planned on Aspen Drive in Happy Valley – Goose Bay, but it won’t be ready to open until mid-December.
