Two words: Fuck yeah. I had been a frequent shopper at the ol' Pearl District location, which was unfortunately closed down during the dispensary reform. I was completely thrilled when I discovered they opened a new location- 3 miles closer to my place! So I stopped right in, check-in took just a minute. The receptionist didn't give me shit for having an old ID picture from when I was 100 lbs lighter and still a teenager, which is great because that's caused problems for me before. This location is way more low-key and not as 'hip' as the old space, much more fitting to the quainter Hollywood District. The budtenders were friendly; engaged in some nice small-talk and gave me a great deal. I picked up a gram of Purple Lightning flowers, rated at a ridiculously high THC content of 22.9%. I paid 7 bucks and got a free pre-roll for my first visit, SCORE. Smoke is nice, flavor is subtle, and I'm /zonked/. I'll definitely be back- just one thing I'd like to see: bike parking. Maybe I missed it on the way in, but a staple or rack somewhere near the door would be tops.

I smoked quit a bit of this a few hours before performing stand-up comedy, then more immediately before. I definitely felt more comfortable and creative on stage than I would've sober. However, the few hours beforehand I felt like I was teleporting around. I would often look around and wonder how I got to a place, and once turned to my friend and asked where we were after 10 minutes of walking. I didn't feel too out of it, just very strong lapses in short-term memory.

The best hybridization I've had. Not usually a fan of diesel, but mixed with blue dream, it really finds a place in my heart.

The headiest and happiest high, with the best tasting smoke that I've ever had.
