This is my all-time favorite strain. As an anxiety sufferer, I have difficulty with a lot of sativas and/or sativa-dominant hybrids, which make me feel edgy. Super Lemon Haze is an exception. And exceptional it is! The onset is perfectly linear. Which is great because at 30% THC (grower: Mr. Tree), it brings you WAY up and plateaus in the stratosphere for hours. The high is surgically clean: no paranoia, no anxiety, no cognitive dissonance, just inspiration and sufficient focus for putting it to use. The come-down is gradual and easy, too. Other reviewers on here say it’s good for wake and bake sessions, but I like it best in the early afternoon. It’s potent, though. Smoke enough of this, and you’ll forget how to pee. Also, the munchies are absolutely intractable, so just surrender to them. You’ll be happier.

Salty Watermelon is perfect for people like me who enjoy sativa strains but are prone to anxiety. Everybody is different, of course, but I get a soaring, transcendent high from this strain without any of the anxiety I get from others. The euphoria comes on strong but becomes more linear at around the 20-minute mark, at which time the body effect kicks in. For the next two hours I get progressively more stoned! The best part is that Salty Watermelon gives me a feeling of total interconnectedness that I used to feel more often when I was a much younger cannabis user. I took a walk yesterday after smoking it and found myself saying, “Yes—exactly this” to pretty much everything around me. An added bonus: after a nice, gradual return to earth, I feel drowsy and content, and I sleep like a stone.

I have a love/hate relationship with Cherry Diesel. After smoking it, I feel REALLY edgy for about 45 minutes, probably because the euphoric effect, which comes on like an absolute freight train, coincides with my body going more or less numb. With my mind in overdrive and my body basically stuck on autopilot, I get an uneasy "locked in" feeling that ratchets up my anxiety. Once things plateau, however, the next three hours or so are GLORIOUS as the edgy feeling gives way to a pain-free, creative, and introspective high. Granted, I have a relatively low tolerance for THC and I suffer from panic disorder, so what I find unnerving about this strain others might find exhilarating. Personally, I find the tradeoff isn't worth it--I can get the positives without the negatives from other strains. Speaking of which, Salty Watermelon gives me a similar high without the anxious, locked-in feeling. So if your experience with Cherry Diesel is anything like mine, consider giving it a try (if you can get your hands on it).
