Personal favorite. This stuff is super relaxing. It's almost pure CBD, so it won't make you high unless you smoke a fuckload of it, and even then, it's not the mind-altering high you'd get from THC. You'll be a bit relaxed and unwilling to move too much, but you will be functional. It's very similar to a Vicodin high. The smell and flavor are fantastic. Very herbal and woody. It's something I could fill my room with and not be ashamed of. I let it out my nose just to taste it. The best way I can think to describe the feeling this gives you is "my brain feels comfy." It feels like a huge weight is lifted off the top of your head and your brain feels cushioned. Like the feeling you get from taking your shoes off after a long day of work, except in your brain. Not much of a body relaxer, but it does help with pain and stress quite a bit. Some good stuff. Shame finding it in vape cartridges is surprisingly rare.

If you've never tried a CBD-focused strain before, I highly recommend it. CBD has worked wonders for my trigeminal neuralgia, and it also helped with a short-term muscle tightness in my back. You don't get high from it like you do THC, but there is definitely an overall euphoria that kicks in as it loosens up your body. The ACDC I got has 20% CBD and 1% THC. The interesting thing, for me, is that CBD takes a little while to kick in compared to THC. So there's a very mild THC "lift" that happens initially after inhaling, and then within about 15 minutes I feel every muscle in my body relax to what feels like its "default state." I'm not impaired by the relaxation, rather I'm freed by it. ACDC is good to have around both for when you just want CBD or you want to blend a little CBD with your THC strains. I am very sensitive to strains that induce paranoia, and you can very quickly and easily mitigate that with some CBD. ACDC provides that option, for sure. There's a mild tingliness that sometimes happens for me with CBD, and ACDC can definitely kick that in. When it happens, it's blissful. I just wish it happened every time I used this strain!

This was a very gentle but very upbeat strain for me. I typically avoid sativa dominant strains because they make me paranoid and anxious and I find them too intense but I did not experience that with this at all. The high CBD ratio was a very welcome surprise. Didn't make me feel sleepy after but didn't make me hyper either. Great balance for this typical hybrid user.

Why is this strain called ACDC? I have no idea. Name selections aside, I picked up .5g of ACDC from a dispensary here in Eugene (grown by High Mountain Organics) just to try it, and I'll be back for more. The friendly budtender who sold me on ACDC said it was good for when she "just wants to let go...ahh." This sounded good to me—and she was right. ACDC, with its high CBD content and almost no THC, brings on muscle relaxation for sure. But this is important—> *please don't assume that a strain with no psychoactive effects means you won't get high* —>letting go of tension feels really, really good—as does being more in the moment and not worrying. Get rid of all of the body/mind stress baloney, and you lift, you really do. It also helped me prepare for an hour-long psychic reading (I'm a certified psychic channel as well as meta-physician of feelgoodedness.) After a puff or two of ACDC, I landed more in the moment and connected to Earth, while relaxed enough to trust and let my intuition flow. Also worth mentioning: ACDC reportedly helps with MS, epilepsy, pain, and the side effects of chemotherapy. Wow!! And it's not snake oil either! Just a plant, a very kind plant. (Note: if you have some dishes to wash or something, and you want to jazz things up, you could mix this strain with, say, a high THC sativa such as Jack Herer or a high THC hybrid energizer such as Pineapple.) ........ I shared my ACDC with a friend who usually avoids marijuana—he says most pot makes him paranoid, anxious, and muddles his mind at work the next day. Not the case with ACDC he said. He was impressed. For me, ACDC didn't bring on any paranoia (essential), was not particularly munchie-producing (semi-essential), and I felt relaxed while not falling immediately into a long winter's nap (important, because I wanted to write this review). Overall, a splendid strain that I'll keep in my medicine cabinet. I'll call it "Let Go" though, instead of ACDC. Just sayin.' ........................................................................................................................... ***My older sister introduced me to pot when I was in the 6th grade in the 70s. I didn't get high—apparently I didn't inhale. After that I didn't smoke much pot until recreational marijuana was miraculously legalized in Oregon in 2015. Now I write reviews on Leafly.***

Amazing so far at easing painful tension headaches. So-so results with my chronic gastrointestinal pain, I'll be experimenting further.
