My 1/8th of Cara Cara was grown by Realeaf Botanicals in Silvis, Illinois. One of the biggest drawbacks with the Illinois recreational market besides the insane taxes is the fact that the first time a customer actually lays eyes on their flower is after it has been bought and paid for. Which sucks because it was not until I got home and finally opened the cannister containing my 3.5g of Cara Cara that I saw the harvest date of August 1, 2025 with an exp. of August 1, 2026. Today is July 12, 2026. I would never have bought this year-old stuff when there are shelves full of fresher herb if I was able to inspect the merchandise before I pay $50 for a few grams.
Upon opening the cannister I was immediately struck by the total 100% lack of smell. I mean it smelled like a hospital bathroom. That makes it terrific for travel. The small stemmy loose dry nugs were easy to break up. No grinder needed. Loaded up the bong with low expectations and was rewarded with a pretty harsh bitter hit that resulted in a hearty cough. It brought me back to the days of the mid-grades of 1994. It got me high. But in an age of legal weed, with high prices, I expect more for my money than what I got with this. I am going to michigan from now on.
Almost burnt the house down bc I forgot my spaghetti Os on the stove, it’s good fucking weed
This strain is right cross of GMO and Tasty Terps followed by a nice clear headed effect perfect for completing any task or just relaxing!
