I was really excited to try this strain, mainly because of all these good reviews, but I think I might have put my expectations a little too high. This was one tasty bud, and the aroma was strong, but pleasant. There was definitely a nice mellow body high and my head remained clear, making this a nice daytime smoke. I did not really feel anything else positive that was reflected by the comments, which is a shame. on the contrary I felt pretty dizzy and gross half the time, kind of like when drunk. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to buy this strain again, but wouldn't turn it down if someone shares.

Maybe I just got a bad batch but this dawg was all bark and no bite. I was enticed by the high THC concentration but this strain turned out to be a major dissapointment. The bud is very brown and crumbly, almost to powder. Granted it was harvested mid July and I just opened it from the packaging just under 3 months later. Doesn't even get me high, just makes me super tired, moody, irritable. Bought a quarter and ended up flushing the remaining 1/8 bag. Still have an unopened 8th same harvest and thru the bag seems very crumbly as well. Maybe wasn't cured properly. Will ask vendor if I can exchange remaining bag. UPDATE: tried rehydrating the second 1/8 bag. No luck, still the same results. Disappointing.

can not figure out why my dispensary was selling this as bottom shelf. oh well good for me I suppose got it for cheap. anyway really took my pain away. it hit me instantly and it hit hard although the some itself is very smooth and thin.

Chemdawg is what I reach for when I want that old school stoned experience. Leaves me happy, hungry, and generally pretty couch locked. Definitely not my choice if I'm going to make a speech.. not that I ever do. The Terp profile on this just screams WEED! To me me. It's skunky, piney, and what the kids might call 'loud'. Chem seems to be resurfacing hard everywhere right now as well. Forever 10/10

It's a very nice strain, but it's VERY hard to take. It's definitely not one you want to take a heavy hit on. Your lungs will thank you for taking smaller tokes. I use it in a concentrate, and I find it smokes VERY quickly, which other concentrates don't smoke half as much as this strain. It makes it easy to get a quick toke in, but it's definitely hard for most people (not a strain I'd recommend as a starter). It's hard for me even while using a vape pen AND a bong together (the vape smoke goes through the water to make it easier to take), and it's STILL hard on the lungs. But, it definitely is worth the coughing, if you accidentally inhale too much at a time. I can get a headache from this, if I'm not careful, but otherwise, it feels really nice. It's the kind of strain you want if you just want to veg out on the couch and watch something funny. I can fall asleep to this strain, sometimes, and other times, it makes me want to do something...but mostly, I end up laying in bed watching YouTube for a 'staycation'. This strain will DEFINITELY give you the munchies. I feel REALLY hungry after toking on this, while most of the time, I feel munchies but can ignore them. THIS strain makes you feel like you need to eat. REALLY good for people who have trouble eating because of nausea or anorexia. :)

I must smoke too much because I’m looking at some of the reviews for this chem dawg and I’m like man you must don’t smoke a lot. I give this strain no stars if I could and would never in my life buy this garbage again. But that’s my opinion different strokes for different folks. It didn’t do nothing for me.

I love hybrids and I especially love Chemdawg! There's a great story behind that strain, look it up if you're interested in that sort of stuff. I remember the first time I tried this strain up in Lake Tahoe and my friend told me that Chemdawg was what the growers wanted for themselves as it's super potent and effective against stress. She wasn't kidding about the potency, Chemdawg is not for everyone! I had great medicinal relief from PTSD, pain from prednisone inflammation and stress. I had to clear the next few hours after using this strain, perfect for a day off doing stuff at home.
