Where to start.. Gelato (any strain number) is a delightful strain to smoke. Newbs be forwarned.. I typically see this strain ranging anywhere from low to mid twenties total cannabinoid percentage. Terp profile very similar to its parent GSC Thin Mint. very sweet, earthy, and on occasion fuely. Two thumbs up fa sho.

So, this is a new one for me. Figured let's try it out. First, let's start with the smell. I love the smell! Its thick and woodsy with hints of sweet citrus. It almost reminds you of fresh pine but sweeter. The buds have a beautiful dark green color with hints of orange. The smoke has a thick taste as well, a bit peppery on the exhale but not unpleasant. You can taste the earthiness, but its fresh and extremely pleasant. I smoke for anxiety, so I'm not a heavy hitter. I prefer to allow it to take its course and slowly bring everything back down to normal. Which it did, 3 hits and 5 to 10 minutes in. I could really feel the tension in my shoulders ease. My mind was quiet... Let me tell you, that was a blessing. I was having a rough patch with my anxiety the past week and this was nice, to finally relax. Definitely in my top 5!

I hadn’t partaken in this sweet herb’s intensity in quite a while so the first night I scored some I ended up staying up all night delighted by the lucid euphoria that accompanies this relaxing flower. Smooth notes and an incredible ability to release tension from your muscles.

a mix of sunset sherbet and GSC! perfect hybrid. helps with PMS and cramping too!

smoking Gelato 43 currently.. first look and smell i cant say was impressive. was very dark green and purple almost black color.. ive seen this strain look very different depending on grower. that earthy smell always makes me think of old school regular. smoking now and its giving cottonmouth... eyelids feel that inital heavy feeling. my nerve pain has diminished a bit already. the taste is very natural and pleasant[no chem taste]. i can feel a good mix of body and head high. not too overwhelming but definitely not weak. leaves a good after taste on the tongue. good strain for after work to relax but not get crippled

I went grocery shopping!!! no not the munchies I've been on disability for 7 years due to irrational fears, I rarely leave my home but to go to the doctor otherwise I feel like I'm walking to the electric chair or having a heart attack as i think of walking out of my door. This was an unexpected surprise i usually stick with King Loius XIII or GG#4(original glue), Blackberry Kush is good too, and ive always thought 29%THC was gonna give me some head high that made me even more paranoid I didn't go or made it so I was so high I didn't care if I looked like a fool in public and those were my options. This is a new addition to my "collection" of medications. I can go into public with practically a clear mind and do things normal people (normies) do and not be so obsessed with my internal dialogue that my irrational fears stopped me from even getting out the door. I bought a half based off of the leafy review. it didn't do for me what I was expecting based on the review but I'm happy I found something to help me with something no mental health professional has been able to do in years

I recently obtained some Gelati - with an 'i' rather than an 'o' - which I'm confident assuming is the same (or super similar) strain to Gelato. (Google churns up no results for a strain galled Gelati) Regardless, the wonderful effects of the medicine have inspired me to write my first review. Wow. I am a very frequent smoker (all California medical-grade) and my tolerance is quite high. And yet... right now... well over an hour after smoking a moderate sized bowl (my first one of Gelati), I am ONLY NOW feeling the slightest comedown. My goodness. And the high is just superb. Very elevated mood, super relaxed, incredible body high, heavy eyelids and yet... still energizing. This is one of the best strains I have ever smoked. I am flush with top-shelf flower right now, and yet everything else I'm currently sampling (Cookies, Black Dog, DoSiDos, Sundae Driver, Tangie, Gorilla Glue etc.) just won't be quite as satisfying. MID-REVIEW UPDATE- Despite my earlier comments about the comedown finally happing, I just felt a strong wave of relaxation and joy, that feeling when the indica traits 'take you'. Wow, this strain even gets an A+ in longevity. I rarely buy in bulk, but if I'm ever able to procure some well-grown Gelato I'll have to consider it VERDICT: One of the best strains in all the galaxy.
