Green Queen reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Green Queen.
Pretty nice bud fluffy buds with orange hairs nice happy uplifting high giggly lol
Very good at relieving gastrointestinal pain. Happy and euphoric.
Good balance of body and mind high. Good for being active yet chill. Big smokers should probably load large bowls.
Good, dense nugs, very earthy/chocolatey smell. Vapor was bittersweet and tasted a bit like tea. Good uplifting high, good for doing work/daily activities.
You go along for a while using the same strain, and think you're starting to understand the varietal you're using and how it balances out between relieving symptoms and interfering with ordinary functioning, and then you discover it can still surprise you. Green Queen has been the only strain in my stash for weeks. I had my usual small pipe bowl of this at around 7 pm; by 8:00 I'd eaten twice as much dinner as I'd planned, and have spent the rest of the evening quite contentedly sitting on the couch by candlelight reminscing with a friend (who was not altered in any way)... except I'm going to have to buy another bag of Halloween candy.
I picked an ounce of Green Queen not to long ago from collective awakenings. This was my first time trying this strain, and I was not disappointed. Its one of the better strains Ive ever encountered. I felt happy, euphoric, and relaxed but not lazy. I will definitely be back for more.
"Eyeballed it" instead of using my scale, and apparently had a fair amount more than usual last night. I still had a good experience, and still felt quick to relax muscles and do a lot of range-of-motion stretching, but I also felt much more mentally affected (kind of stupor-ish) and kind of agitated. I spent much of the first hour and a half unable to sit still for very long, and noticed I was pacing around a lot, almost as if I was looking for something. (I've had this experience with other strains, but this was a first for me with GQ.) However much I had, it was a very long ride; I was still pretty buzzed after three hours, and even after going to sleep I woke up several times during the night still feeling its effects. I still think the Green Queen is a splendid lady, but she has more power than I knew.
I've only tried half a dozen or so strains in the past couple of months (since I started using again, authorized by my naturopath) but this is by far my hands-down best choice for muscle spasms and chronic pain. I love this stuff: it's strong but not overwhelming, deeply relaxing without making me feel comatose, and still leaves me feeling functional for everyday tasks (though I wouldn't want to drive or operating any other heavy machinery for two hours or so). The only downside, for me, is eye discomfort after a while but that's easily managed with some good-quality drops. Besides the excellent balance of effects, Green Queen smoke has a lovely kind of citrusy flavor and doesn't make my home smell like a head shop.
