Despite what is quite possibly the absolute most unappealing strain name (Right up there with such high school classics as the ever so elegant strain known as "Cat Piss"), and a somewhat odd smell and terpene profile, it really tastes pretty good and always produces absolutely AMAZING effects! When a buddy of mine sent me his weekly bud menu a month or two back, he had some "Head Cheese" that had been grown in the notorious Humboldt County section of "The Emerald Triangle" in Northern California. So while I was somewhat dubious about the name (and "Cheese" strains in general- I had avoided them up to this point), I figured if it had come out of Humboldt, at least I know it's gonna be good stuff. So as for appearance- the nugs are medium to small size, but very dense and tight. Beautiful trichomes everywhere. The bud itself actually had an interesting blue-ish hue I had never really seen before. Smell was.... uh, unique and truth be told, a little weird. Like Blue Cheese and berries or something.. Hard to really nail down. Taste was surprisingly sweet, without too much of the cheesey flavor coming through. Effects- I was blown away by this stuff! I honestly didn't really expect the level of euphoria it took me to from a "Cheese" strain. But man, this stuff had an incredible 50/50 cerebral trippiness + deeply relaxing body high. If you're on the fence about "Cheese" strains like I was, do yourself a favor and grab some one day! Exceptional Stoneage!

Very awesome strain. Keeps me awake and focused. Its the kind of high that you feel behind your eyes. It makes my head get that buzzing feeling that is prominent in sativa strains but at the same time gives me a super relaxing body high. I have tremors and twitches due to a brain injury i got and it helps mellow me out and reduced my anxiety. I noticed a big difference in my tremors. They are significantly better when I smoke this strain which is strange because usually sativa dominant stains make my tremors worse. But it’s become my favorite daytime smoke due to the fact that it doesn’t make me sleepy but still gives me the body high that I’m looking for to soothe my tremors. would highly recommend!

So, being a lover of stinky cheeses IRL the thought of a "cheese" strain has had me intrigued since I started smoking for real 2 years ago. Had the chance to pick a gram up today after reading the reviews here and I'm glad I did. Although the aroma wasn't super intense at the dispensary, once I got it home and took a good whiff from the container, my goodness! The pine is dominant but the spicy cheese is unmistakeable (and amazing). Nice, perfectly cured, dense forest green nugs interspersed with red and orange calyxes, all dusted with trichs. Smoked from 12" beaker bong... Flavor is similar to scent, mild pine with a hint of the cheese up front. TBH I was a little disappointed, maybe I had built it up too much in my mind, UNTIL I licked my lips, took a deep breath and had a sip of water. Cheese!!!!! Pretty wild. High is a lil slow to set in...tingly and euphoric head change, followed shortly after by full body tingles, which continue as the head change expands. Pretty happy and hungry right now...also, dry mouth is a real thing with the Cheese. No anxiety or paranoia to speak of, however. Feels like this would be a solid wake and bake, and/or social activity strain. All in all a novel and pleasant med. Don't know if it'll make my regular rotation... but it's a solid strain and worth a try.

Interesting how the two strains show up at different times. Usually I get the indica kick first which a little bit too much heart rate and energy, but the sativa kicks in and smooths it all out and shows why this is a great hybrid. Energetic while relaxed with all the other bonuses like euphoric and a slight head buzz makes for a nice time. It's almost weird if you catch yourself analyzing how you feel so relaxed yet clear minded and ready to take on the world. (Ex: willing and able to write this review and actually did it instead of just thinking about it when I usually wouldn't ever LOL)

I love cheese strains but they all miss one thing this one has, and that's the all day viability of this wonderful strain. it's harder hitting than most cheese strains and the headband effect PERFECTLY synergises with that cheese feeling. giving you an all day 2 in 1 combo (head and body)

😵🎆 Head Cheese is everything you could ever want from a Sativa-dominant hybrid. The high is very distinct and is perfect for waking and baking or general daytime use. Personally I could smoke this anytime, as the mood lift is so prominent that this has quickly become one of my favorite strains! The smell is so disgustingly good, like a block of parmesan cheese and a pine cone had a stillborn baby. I would recommend this strain for people who want to fuel their creative endeavors or get actual work done and feel great while doing so. Myrcene: 7.4 mg/g, Ocimene: 3.4 mg/g and Linalool 1.0 mg/g.

Taste: Floral and Sweet. Great burn in the Pax 2. Grower: Prime. Effects: Neck and shoulders feel less tense and body feels relaxed, but I don’t feel “stoned"… what I mean by that is I am completely conscious, calm and focused..A few heady tingles in the crown, maybe an effect from one of the parent strain, Headband...? Or, perhaps those are the creative sparks amplifying from this nice head lifting strain?! Head Cheese will definitely clear up any brain fog you might have. Great Terpene profile which included Caryophllene, Limonene and Linalool. This is a great day time strain to keep you active, uplifted and focused without the stress or anxiety. Tip* this lil flower will make your eyes and mouth very dry, so keep yourself hydrated.

I've been smokin dope now for 40+ years. This is the BEST cannabis high I've ever had. I mostly do concentrates now... shatter and honey. One hit of Head Cheese and I was as high as a dab. And the high was exquisite! A calm comfortable euphoria. A body high the was so soft and floaty, melting away any aches and pains. Energizing and listening to music. AWESOME! Man, did I mention how strong it is! My rig is going to be dusty when I get back to it. Hopefully I can find this in a concentrate that stays true to the high I get with the buds.
