Silvertip reviews

I was wanting a new sativa and saw that my dispensary, the Oregon Grown Gift Shop, had Silver Tip, which Leafly calls Montana Silver Tip but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing.  It's a cross between Super Silver Haze (which I'm trying to grow this year) and Granddaddy Purple.   It smells and tastes to me like Super Silver Haze with Granddaddy Purple notes to soften it a bit, and it's super skunky! I keep opening up the jar to smell it again and again. Mmmm... weed..... Mine tested at 21.19% THC and this ranks up high in favorite sativas of mine. This sativa hybrid is cerebral and energizing.  My mind feels clear and empty, the sound of the music passes right through me and I feel light.  This is perfect strain to start your day with or if you are out a night club and want to stay up all night and feel the music while tripping out on the disco dance light sparkling all around and the frenetic energy of the crowd rumbles in your belly. It didn't take long at all for me to feel high and all I gotta say is I really can't wait to grow Super Silver Haze this year!

In general, most make me sleepy, but also helps me to feel extremely productive and able to get things done. I suffer from major depression, anxiety, sciatica (chronic back pain)... so basic chores can be hard for me... this is a life saver for me. I also suffer from sciatica. This strain particularly? It was great! Definitely as stated: earthy yet sweet! Was not a pain to consume. Skunky and dark purple, looks so cool! Recently, I've been having horrible sciatic nerve pain and along my entire lower back. When it flares up so badly, I can hardly move, and nothing else helps other than a tennis ball. Gave this a try, pain is reduced drastically, mood is uplifted, I'm getting things done (productive), multitasking, just in a great mood! Unfortunately, that would not have been the norm for me, and usually isn't. Sometimes I don't get out of bed all day, so it's nice to be "back in action" mentally and physically. This is truly my "medicine"!

Hard hitting strain, helps quite a bit with fibromyalgia pain and stress. Is really relaxing and can be quite couch-locking. Had used this after a little LCU, and between the two, it has really made my pain and fatigue mellow out. Highly recommended, but not for beginners.

Bodily effects were pretty nice, but I found that this strain made me the wrong kind of chill. Being calm is great unless you’re just calm & awash in unpleasant emotions. I suspect this particular strain allows my depression to present itself more fully. I’d love Silvertip if not for this & I hope others can avoid the same experience.

When I last had Silvertip it was from a gal (she and her old man grew it) from Montana passing thru west Michigan in 2010-2011 local dispensary Southside of town(no longer in business) I should have bought all she had and saved it only for very special occasions... Dark purple buds dipped in big white shiny trichomes looking frosted in sugar, smelled of berries, super duper sedative Indica phenotype. Smoke very little and it was the ice box and some shut eye whether you wanted to sleep or not..... Narcolepsy cannabis furthermore I was put into a gleeful pain free state on the way to slumber... The True Silver Tip is a knockout Indica! Purple and tasty-FRUIT LOOPS with no disorientation, just glee! I should have bought all I could not afford! It was a clone only strain, when Montana flopped on their Medical program(happened in Switzerland too) growers were made criminals overnight, furthermore the real Silvertip was in jeopardy of being lost as grows were being shutdown and raided throughout Montana. Where the real Silvertip relocated to I would love to know and a cutting as well! aloha

As a born and raised Montanan this strain has been close to my heart for a long time. A strong Head high that is not overwhelming or anxiety inducing and quickly followed by a heavy body high this strain is perfect for my chronic pain and a mellow evening on the couch. I've seen this strain grown by many a Montana grower but this batch I got from my new provider @ Dancing Goat Gardens has to be the best i've seen @ 33.4% total THC content and 4.69% Terpenes these buds are the most aromatic and flavor I've ever seen and potent taboot.

Excellent body high and physical and mental effects for me. An all rounder. Pretty much everything is better with a little Montana silvertip. I can vape this any time of day and feel excellent without getting any of the side effects often associated with some of the other medical “purple” strains such as getting really hungry or feeling tired. If you enjoy sativas and indicas and want something euphoric with a little less intense of a head high and an excellent body high while still getting energy, motivation, and creativity, give this a try.

I picked up some Montana Silvertip from Alter Farms multiple times now and I am HOOKED. It’s the strain that can literally change my mood in a 180. I’ve had the crappyiest of days, but after smoking this strain, all of my worries are gone, leaving me with more motivation and energy to do more.
