Also called Otto. This high cbd strain really works for my wife's MS. She could feel her feet for the first time in years. She acted like a teenager all week when smoking this. I hope we can get some more. The sample we had was cbd heavy... more like 1:2 with 13 percent thc and 22 percent cbd. Works great for pain without couch lock. Buds were light and fluffy, a little spindly. Smelled earthy. Tasted earthy, bordering on harsh, kind of like smoking some good Reggie. Good for joints, especially when mixed with a strong tasting bud like cheese or trainwreck.
Good for patients with multiple sclerosis
Would recommend!
GREAT FOR MS!!!
My wife could feel her feet for the first time in ten years.
We love this strain.
Got it form Evergreen apothecary in Denver.
Taste was earthy, and woody. Bordering on harsh. Like smoking some Reggie. Buzz was clear and uplifting, and invoked MAJOR munchies.
My wife had no problem exploring RedRocks after smoking a joint .
This bud is not for everyone, as its appearance, smell and taste are definitely nothing to write home about.
It is the medicinal qualities that make this our favorite strain.

I'm usually a sativa guy and I'm not a fan of heavy body and sleepy feeling that I get from Indica strains, One to One provide a better alternative for me. It does the job of removing inflammation from my joints and neck without the heavy, drowsy feeling. I like to pair up this strain with Durban Poison before a work out session. One to One noticeably helps loosen up muscles in my body. Also I sleep well with One to One and wake up without weed hangover.
I just hold of some Otto #1 from a reliable vendor (grown in USA) which I wanted to try for anxiety.
The flower buds look and smell fairly unremarkable. Small standard looking green buds with no crystals, and just a few orange bits. Hardly any smell. Even when smoking. This may be a benefit to some, but not really an issue if you vape anyway.
This batch I had was a purely legal medicinal strain. Grown for very high CBD and very low THC (within the EU/UK legal limit of below 0.2%). There is absolutely no high, body buzz or euphoria from this strain. Totally not recreational.
I tried vaping and smoking this flower bud and found smoking better. Normally I don't like smoking as I find it hard on my lungs, but Otto #1 is a super smooth smoke.
I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised at how effective this strain is not just for mental relaxation (without making you feel sedated or drowsy) and anxiety, but also mental focus and another useful medical benefit.
The only way I can describe the relaxation effect is like taking a low dose of Xanax. All worrying thoughts and chaotic thinking disappears leaving a very grounded and clear headed state of mind. It feels completely natural. Like me on a good day after a restful nights sleep and some good quality meditation.
Now for the other effects...
Mental focus. If you suffer from attention deficit disorder or have problems focusing on tasks this strain is great for that. I found myself having a very productive day and able to focus for many hours on work tasks with my thinking very clear and ideas coming easy.
Interestingly, for me this strain also seems to alleviate completely rebound anxiety between Xanax doses and also alcohol cravings. I have read it's sometimes used for managing alcohol and benzo withdrawal. I definitely think it will help anyone experiencing withdrawals. The complete abating of my physical and mental anxiety feelings between doses benzo lasted a good 6-7 hours.
I didn't experience any significant pain-relief from this strain and overall I would describe the effects as more orientated towards mental relaxation and mental focus, with some anxiety relief.
As I suffer with chronic social anxiety I decided to have a second smoke and see if it would help with that if I went to the shops. Unfortunately it did not help much there and I still felt anxious, but the anxiety relief I got indoors was pretty impressive none the less, better than any other natural remedy I've tried. Nothing can usually stop my rebound anxiety I get every 6-8 hours between Xanax doses, or my urge to have a drink if I'm facing any kind of social situation.
Summary:
Although this strain clearly has some medical benefits for some anxiety sufferers, i.e. mild anxiety or anxiety related to benzo dependency or alcohol withdrawal, it may not help with chronic anxiety conditions such as social anxiety. I'd have liked a little bit more potency and ideally some pain-relief. The mental focus and clear headed effect were unexpected benefits and impressive though could probably be achieved with regular meditation practice. At £10/gram it's rather expensive for what it offers. I think there's surely better medicinal strains out there for chronic social anxiety. Maybe ACDC or Blue Dream. .

This was okay. Some relief of a headache, but it didn't go away entirely. Slight mood uplift, but it seems the 1:1 ratio acted more to cancel each other out, at least with my biology.

I have severe ADHD issues and take stimulants daily to help keep me focused. I have tried so many different strains! Otto is by far the best for focus. The effects come on quick, a decent head rush, followed by a tingling sensation throughout the body. Potent enough to make you feel nice and calm, but not enough to couchlock you or make you paranoid. Gives you a small case of the munchies, for someone like me, stimulants kill my appetite, Otto brings it back just enough so i dont pig out. Super calming strain, AMAZING for daytime use!
It works great for me. Only takes a little.
