Cannabis will be sold in one store in Whitehorse run by the Yukon Liquor Corporation, which is also planning a web site for online ordering and direct delivery. At a later date, private retail stores will be permitted to open.
Yukon officials are working hard to have the single retail store open on Oct. 17. The online retail option will likely be available later this year.
