Medical Marijuana Patient: I have MS, undifferentiated connective tissue disease, trigeminal neuralgia, vestibular migraines, bipolar and C-PTSD. I look to deal with the standard issues of a person with chronic illness like pain, nausea, muscle cramping, headaches, lack of hunger, anxiety and insomnia. I normally lean toward plants with myrcene or that are called indica or hybrids and often have trouble with sativas. I took my medicine in a vape cartridge. Two normal puffs.
This strain did nothing for my migraine I had. But it started out with a pretty nice mix between being slightly energetic and having a calm, floating feeling that is good for anxiety. Some strains can actually make me feel negative towards myself and give me an overall bad feeling. This one didn’t do that in the beginning. It wasn’t as good as say, Northern Lights for me, where I feel like I am slipping into a nice warm bath but it was still pleasant. When I really paid attention to it, I could feel a nice change to my muscles in my legs which are almost always cramped because of MS. They felt lighter and even a little euphoric like after someone massages them. But there was also some sort of slightly uncomfortable prickly feeling at the top layer of my skin like it had goosebumps or something. I’m really disappointed that it did nothing for the pain in my face or my migraine. But it is hard for me to find strains that will hit a migraine.
After a bit, the energetic part picked up and surpassed the calm part for me and it didn’t work as an anti-anxiety agent. I felt rushed like I can often with plants that are sativa or sativa leaning hybrids. It lost that pleasant feeling.
I even had to take a little bit of another strain I knew was calming. I won’t be using this one again. As always, all of our bodies respond differently. Many people will respond beautifully to this I’m sure. I can tell it is a good plant. It just isn’t for me.
But I can see it being very helpful for energy, to do a project around the house and to be used during the day. I could definitely see it working for muscle or bone pain. But I would just caution anyone with skin issues just because of how sensitive it made me feel. Many blessings.
Favorite strain ... hands down.... makes my dreamer n creative side comes out and I’m still alert and not sleepy. It’s my favorite wake n bake 🥰
Blue Dream continues to be one of my favorite strains when dosed appropriately. I smoked a blunt while sitting at my dorm and Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball came on and I burst out crying due to calling off a prior engagement with my ex fiance. It is very Euphoric and made me emotional but also unlocks a portion of my creativity not accessible through sober means. 5 stars. BD for life.
Dude. This strain... is happiness and pain numbing in one puff.
Nice ascent to happiness. Peaks with euphoric and focused energy. Great for wake n' bake sessions and getting stuff done. Finishes with a smooth sailing into the meadows of relaxation.
I don’t like this strain at all.
LIFE CHANGING.... I always knew this strain was great, but it saved my day today.
I tried 3 different pain relieving strains that didn’t work on my back/nerve/leg pain. It was the worst it’s ever been, and nothing helped, until I looked up nerve pain strains and blue dream was one... I always saw it as a sativa for uplifting, creative & euphoric effects, but today opened my eyes. ilera’s Blue Dream (small buds 1/4 flower) took my pain from a 9/10 to a 6/10 within 10-20 minutes. Once I was up and walking, I could do so without wincing, or random shots of pain. I was able to celebrate with a mini dance and not feel terrible pain! Wonderful high as always, but my body is so thankful for this strain.
