Blue Dream reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Blue Dream.
High thc. Easy on throat due to the pine flavored terpenes covering up the peppery taste. Would reccomend for beginners. Can be rather up lifting.
loving this strain, giggling my ass off. Focused AF.
Strain: Lucid Blue from Nature’s Medicines
Consumption Method: Vaporized @ 392 degrees
Appearance: 4/5
The nugs are dense, marbled blue-green, and super sugary, with reddish orange to red pistils. Exactly what you would expect from a Blue Dream cut.
Nose: 3/5
The smell is a bit indelicate, with a hard hitting pine on the front end, which on a second sniff mellows to a pithy lemon and the lightest hint of blueberries on the back end.
Flavor: 4/5
Lucid blue packs a big citrus wallop on the front end. Once you get past that hint of bitter pith you’re rewarded with a sweet, tannic blueberry, and a whisper of violets on the exhale. I’d compare the flavor profile to a good Rosè wine.
Experience: 3/5
I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of most modern Sativas and Sativa dominant hybrids. They tend to feel speedy and get me lost in my head in a way that strains like Acapulco Gold and Maui Wowie just don’t. With that said, I really enjoy Lucid Blue! It’s mellow and clear headed, and I can put my thoughts in order.
I’m fairly convinced that this strain has Headband genetics somewhere in its past, because it gives me that same perfect head pressure I’ve come to associate with Humbolt county indicas.
On the whole I’m relaxed, happy, completely out of it pain, and ready to get some work done.
Overall: 3.5/5
Lucid blue is a delicious strain and a great every day smoke but it won’t exactly having you wax philosophical about the Bigger Luke Theory.
It’s restoring my faith in modern sativas, but when it comes down to a straight choice, I’ll pick Acapulco Gold every time.

Blue Dream is a decent strain to be sure. But it’s only a solid B as a weed for sex. I’m sure it’s strong ratings come from it being everywhere and the first quality strain many new users encounter. However, it suffers from the problem I find with many hybrids: they are good at everything, but great at nothing (other than being good). We generally shy away from hybrids like this, where people describe a range of experiences and a “choose your own adventure” ability to steer it in a sativa or indica direction. We much prefer strains with more distinct characteristics so we know what we’re getting. That way we can choose a strain that fits the mood and time of day rather than trying to steer through the high and hoping it works out. However, if you’re new to this and want a “jack of all trades” strain, you can do a lot worse than Blue Dream. It’s just not for us unless the choices are seriously limited.
We are 50-somethings who vape and have sex pretty much daily. All our reviews focus on our experiences mixing cannabis and sex. We only rate after using an oz so the reviews give a well-rounded impression that captures a strain’s potential, downsides, and typical effects.
I enjoyed this
I usually don’t smoke anything that has sativa in it, but this is good.
Blue Dream is a good staple stain. This stain generally produces an activating effect (via its sativa dominate linage), with a good balance of relaxing effects. So in other words, it is a good all-purpose, day or night strain that you can stay fairly productive on.

What can I say about Blue Dream that hasn't already been said before...its a true classic. This strain will always be one of my favorites and belongs in my personal hall of fame. If you're a Sativa/ Sativa dominant hybrid fan then look no further.
