Incredible! I have a lot of issues with anxiety and just way too many thoughts running through my head at times, worrying about this and that. After this, I feel right as rain. It's like a calmness takes over my body and just says "hey man, let's slow things down and just enjoy the moment.". It's great if you want to relax without the high and I definitely suggest it for those who deal with anxiety or similar things. I get crazy good sleeps after using this strain before bed as well.

Cannatonic is great for what it is. A CBD dominate strain. It's a great strain if you want to relieve stress, depression or anxiety without wanting to feel the intoxicating effects from THC. Nice and smooth flavour through my Pax2 vaporizer.

I tried the Cannatonic last week & havent used it since because I wasnt use to the experiences I had, however I find this strain very useful when experiencing HIGH pain. There was little cerebral effects & what I did experience only lasted less than 20 minutes but left a vague feeling of uplifted. The pain reduction was high, I experienced what could be described as an iron Shawl effect over both shoulders & neck which is where my most common problem for pain exists. within 10 minutes of vaping this strain I began to feel a slight high which was a good start, then a progressive clamping feeling arresting pain in my neck & shoulders from 2 medical conditions one of which causes severe headaches daily. I didnt have any problems with pain there after & was motivated to go to bed instead of staying up for a while to enjoy the euphoric feelings I typically get from other strains. I am ranking this strain for me personally as the morphine of cannabis lol its a definite pain relief strain I will use again. I just have to get use to the initial effects now.

I tried this as my first strain ever on a Hexo Sierra from SQDC. The effects are very subtle, and gave me a focused state of mind. Very good to relief stress, anxiety and pain. Ideal to remain productive and still have a sort of mental buzz. I would not recommended for night as sometimes I was capable of going back to sleep and some others I felt too energized. This is probably sorts of a personal preference but I find the best temp is 374F. The clouds came richer and more puffy than in lower temperatures.

This bud typically goes head to head with Harlequin. . . . Not entirely sure why. Harlequin is a sativa dom. bud, this is a indica leaning hybrid. Upon first toke, I was greeted with a pleasant flavor, nice and earthy, a little sweet as well, with a fantastic scent! The flavor doesn't stick on you like it does with Harlequin, which is a shame, because I love tasting my cannabis after the fact. The high is entirely different than Harlequin. I got a little more anxious, it did not help with my anxiety, but it did uplift my spirit a little, I felt happier, but it wasn't a "high" happy, it was a natural "I'm just a happier person". Maybe the anxiety was due to the fact that I got poor sleep and was a little tired. Who knows. Anywho, moving on. The high is weird. It's neither a sativa or a indica high. It's quite literally, right down the middle. Your body gets tingly, but you're not tired, and you get a decent cerebral buzz but it's not too hard. You get happy, but not the giggles. It's quite literally down the middle. A GREAT hybrid. The come down is just fine, no heavy effects on the come down, you go back to "normal", not tired, or dizzy or drowsy. Then again I just smoked half a bowls worth for this review. Over all, Cannatonic is a decent bud. But it does not feel "complete" like Harlequin does. Harlequin is honestly, and in my opinion, one of the best buds out there. You can get sleepy from it, or energetic, or happy as a clown or super focused. Dependent completely on your mood. Cannatonic just does whatever it does to you, but it does it well. I wouldn't look at this bud if you're looking for a crazy high. Instead you'll get a well balanced body/head buzz that is pleasant and not over powering. I wouldn't use it if you're lethargic, because it does nothing for your energy levels. Now you might be reading this and saying "OMG IT MAKES YOU ANXIOUS", keep in mind I went through a boring and depressing day, so yes, I was a little depressed and emotionally "blah", which is NEVER a good context to part take in. The anxiety was not over powering at all...It was there, it makes your body surge with a bit of energy, but as soon as you get up and move around, it wears off quickly. "So you're saying it doesn't help energy levels, but I should get up and move around because it makes you anxious"....Yes, anxiousness makes you want to move. But it's not because of the buds characteristics. Don't worry, just don't smoke this indoors and you'll be fine. This is a "busy day" kind of bud, or a "out in nature" or park kind of bud. If bud of any kind makes you anxious, don't smoke it indoors, typically does the trick. ;) If I HAD to pick between Harlequin, I would take Harlequin in a heart beat and you should too. Maybe grab a gram of this. But this is a solid replacement for Harlequin if you have none of it around. 71$ after tax for quarter ounce at Caliva in SJ.

Used to smoke a lot as a teenager, had a horrible panic attack from it and didn’t smoke again forever. Came to realize of course I already had anxiety/depression issues without weed and it ended up just amplifying it when I would smoke. Doctor prescribed benzos and ssri’s for depression.... but really don’t want to go that route and want something natural to help instead.... Luckily found this strain at sea of green in Toronto.. was looking for high CBD strain as it said non-psychoactive on the internet. I’m not sure if it’s just because I haven’t smoked in years (almost 9) but I started with literally two puffs and it got me high as shit. And made me super anxious and put myself down and beating myself up over things. So it definitely got me HIGH.. but made me think of things a bit more clearly after I came down. I’m giving it three stars because the third time I smoked it.. it was the complete opposite and I felt blissful and just all around great and clear headed and accepted things and it’s as if my vision was crystal clear (mind you I went into smoking with a positive mindset for once) Hard to explain but it was great. Downside is that when the high wears off it leaves me feeling dizzy with a mild headache that doesn’t seem to go away... this has happened every time. Would recommend if you’re past the starting out phase and slowly getting more comfortable with smoking and know how to handle it. The search for a strain that obliterates my anxiety and depression continues...

Great strain for those who want to micro-dose. This is a great strain to give you all the benefits of CBD, and not the high from THC. Give remember that there are very low levels of THC. So when using this strain remember, if you use a higher dosage it would give you a high from the THC thats in it (quick math lesson: when you use a small amount of something a lot, that small amount adds up to a big amount).

I only smoke moderately potent/high CBD strains now, as they don't give me panic attacks like the super high THC/nearly zilch CBD strains do. This one is about as good as you can find in Colorado, the other being Rubicon which is only available at one dispensary (and all their locations). The THC percentage is moderate, like 7%, and has 15% or so CBDs. The result to me is a very pleasant stone that is ultra-relaxing. Perfect for playing a marathon session of Civilization or binge watching a show. I never feel panicky after smoking it, and that's about the biggest plus I can give a strain. To me this is the perfect strain to try if you haven't smoked anything in ages. This will still get you high, but it's a throwback to the mellow pleasant high of the strains way back when. It has the added benefit of having very nice anesthetic appeal on top of it. It looks great, smells wonderful (a piney/cirtusy mix), and has a very nice taste to it. Ignore those who say it doesn't have any effect. My guess is those people smoke strains that have a significantly higher percentage of THC in them on a regular basis. Sure, if you're tolerance is that big perhaps it won't have much of an effect. But still, 7% THC isn't nothing, and most people will feel stoned off of it, especially if they aren't everyday smokers.
